We stayed there for 5 days with Kids and elderly. We loved the Place. It has all the facilities you need from a holiday home including wi-fi and a BBQ. Lots of places around to explore 10 min drive to lovely Aberdovey Beach, 5 min drive to the town where you can have a nice meal or buy your groceries. There is a convenient store 2 min walk to buy your daily milk bread and eggs and a pub resto next to it. If you travel with kids they will love King Arthur's Labrynth, Corrie's Mine just 15 min drive. I loved my daily run around the area. Lovely friendly neighbours and their dogs too. Owner Paul is very reasonable and accommodating.

We just returned from a week's stay at Netherleigh, a fantastic holiday bungalow in Pennal.
The location of the bungalow is perfect, it is a quiet street about 250 yards from the local shop and pub. Walking opportunities are endless, with a lot of paths well marked. It's a great area to visit with dogs...
The bungalow itself is exceptionally well kitted out. Everything you want from a house is there, and all sufficient for a party of 6. Being a modern house, there is none of the drawbacks of the cottages, no drafts, no cold, always hot water, and all mod cons like digital TV, dishwasher etc.
Kids loved the bunk bed!
Although the weather was quite dreadful for 6 out of the 7 days, the immediate area of Pennal had a lot of really good attractions like Aberdovey beach, the Tywyn steam train, the Nant Yr Arian forest (red kite feeding), the Dolgoch waterfalls etc. All these things are available in less than half an hours drive, and our 6 and 8 y olds loved it!.
All in all, fantastic bungalow in a fantastic area - Well done!

We had a short break in March and were very lucky with the weather which was a bonus. The bungalow is fantastic, clean, spacious, well kept and in a super location to get out and about.
There are lots of places to see nearby including the lovely village of Aberdovey where we had many long walks with our dog over the sand dunes. However with the bungalow's location you can actually leave the car in Pennal and take one of the many walks around especially the walk up into the forest where the views over the hills and valleys are not to be missed!
Only a stones throw away from the bungalow is the Riverside Hotel so if you decide not to cook one day you can either have snacks in the bar ora lovely meal in their restaurant. As we had our dog we could not use the restaurant but dogs are allowed in the other areas so we popped in there several times to enjoy the amazing food and drink.
We hope to be back to stay in this wonderful property again the autumn.

We had a super time, the bungalow was clean and tidy and fresh looking, we arrived on a warm sunny day and were able to take tea in the garden, sadly that was the last time as it then rained every day for the next week! However, one doesn't visit Wales for the weather!
The accomodation was nicely presented with nice touches like dishwasher tablets and a good supply of cleaning materials. AND toilet paper was supplied! it always amuses me that Holiday rentals dont have any when one arrives, what is one supposed to do? But I was a girl-guide so always go prepared, so it's nice to find a holiday let that has the right approach, Thanks!
The bungalow is in a good location and there are many sights within an hours drive, the local Pub/Restaurant is excellent (if a tad expensive), but well worth the walk down.
