good location, clean. I had a room on the ground floor . I had a room overlooking the garden - very nice, very quiet, even though it was July - Aug we did not need air conditioning, equipped kitchen, but there were ants.

Room Tip: overlooking the garden

Me, my partner and our 2 year old daughter stayed here at the beginning of June and as with other reviews there Pros and cons to this place.
On arriving were kindly shown to our room on the second floor which was located directly next to the fire escape, so close in fact that if you opened the door and took a left you would end up down the stairs, this was not the best location when you have a two year old content on walking everywhere. The rooms were VERY run down, the cupboards had a bad smell of damp, the fridge did not shut properly and it was not very clean. We were expecting it to be a little aged but the place looked like it had not been refurbished since it had been opened many years ago.
Our room being on a corner plot and south facing had the sun all day which is where our real gripe began. We asked for the AC to be switched on that evening from which we were told they do not switch it on until mid-June because it is not warm enough so we accepted that and tried to go to sleep that night. Due to the mosquito infestation in the area we had to close the windows and doors on a night and therefore there was no air in the room, it was hot sweaty and I could only describe it as what it would feel like to be in a hot prison cell. Our daughter did not sleep all night and suffers from over -heating which can bring on medical conditions, we told this to the staff who were very helpful and nice to be honest but after 3 days and nights we finally got it switched on although it made little difference.
Sidari itself is a little run down, parts of it smell of sewerage and the main beach is covered in rotting sea weed. We stayed in the Canal d’armour which is totally different, nice beaches and lovely restaurants they are like two different resorts. If you have the choice stay in the Canal d’armour.

If you injure yourself DO NOT go to the local doctor surgeries dotted about the resort they will rip you off! My daughter bumped her head so as a precaution took to the surgery at the bottom of the street where were staying at. The ‘Doctor’ wafted his finger in front of my daughters eyes and said she was fine all OK he then ask we return the next day with our boarding passes and passports, we did has he asked, the lady photocopied them then passed me a bill for 80 euros! She said our E11 cards do not work we MUST pay for the surgery even though the doctor did nothing and if we refused she would call the airline and say our daughter was not fit to fly! Stay clear, if you need anything minor visit the Pharmacy they have a nurse and it is free!

Food wise we found the best places to eat to be Texas Jacks for breakfast and dinner, The Orchard for Greek, Napoli for Pizza (great staff) and Konaki Greek tavern for Greek and Gyros pitta (The best I have ever tasted)

For a relaxing drink overlooking the sea go to the D’armour bar which is located and the end of the road opposite Konaki tavern, the views are amazing, you can sit on the hammock with a beer and relax, we got an hour a day relaxation here while my daughter had a nap, it was bliss.

To sum the place up the staff in Olgas were really good you could not fault them they were really friendly and helpful; it was the quality of the apartments themselves that let it down.

Personally we would not return to Sidari but would possibly visit Greece again but this time a little wiser.

Room Tip: Ask to stay in the new building over the road from the reception over looking the sea.

This was mine and my husbands first beach holiday on our own in 25 years...when we arrived in Sidari our coach dropped us off at the end of the road to Olga apartments where we were greeted by Mike the owner, we had the best of welcome by him and his family, as it was early season we had a choice of front or back apartment, we chose the front as it has the morning sun! The apartments are very spacious and clean, and the breakfasts were tasty but as it was early season it was very quiet not that we're complaining, maybe next time we'll go a little later in the year but if you want quiet I would definitely recommend the month of May!
We tried most of the surrounding bars and restaurants and I must say the staff were really welcoming and friendly no matter which one you go to. You must also try the clubs and bars along the Sidari strip they have tribute nights, karaoke's etc and are great fun! Our favourite bar was B.E.D's where we would visit most days and stay on the beach front soaking up the rays, also had the most romantic evening meal there, sat over looking the sea and watching the sunset...George and his team were very friendly and helpful, very quiet and chilled by day then crazy fun at night! ..I would definitely recommend!!! Most importantly I felt safe and comfortable around the whole area...Can't Wait to go back to this beautiful island, hopefully next year for my son's wedding!!!

We booked at Olga based on the reviews we'd read on here for our last holiday before our first child. Frankly we're leaving feeling disappointed.
Firstly the positives -
It is in a great location, few hundred metres from the Canal d'Amour and in the quiet side of Sidari. The pool is lovely, there are plenty of loungers and the bar is well stocked and cheaper than elsewhere. The apartments are large and clean and the towels and linens are changed weekly.
The negatives -
We paid €45 for air con for the week. It was fixed/glued on low and made no difference. When we asked to have it looked at and turned up 3 times we were told this would happen, not that it cannot be turned up because the control has been glued! Having read the comments about hard beds we asked for a mattress topper on our first day. After three days of asking we finally received an oversize sheet of foam as an alternative. The staff made all the right noises when we asked for things ( oh, we understand, your wife is pregnant, it's too hot for her, the bed is too hard for her, we'll sort this out for you......) But when it actually came to doing something it was very different. If the hotel literature offers air con, mattress toppers etc then these options and services should be available and at the stated price ( air con is listed as €35 for the week)
The hotel WiFi is another gripe. As the main building is made of concrete do not expect to be able to use WiFi in your room. We got poor signal at best and were right over reception. At €7 for the week it is not a massive expense but each device can have 15 minutes free per day so I would just do that unless you live on social media 24/7.
Hopefully for all the other guests ours is the exception, but we are leaving feeling very disappointed and glad that we went out every day and did our own thing.

Stayed at olga's for a week from the 5th June......been to SIdari a few times now and this was definitely the best yet!
Pool was quiet with plenty of beds, the rooms were a great size and cleaned daily and breakfast was always tasty!! Only complaint would be that the beds are very hard.
The staff are very welcoming and would do anything for you. Will be returning again next year :)

stayed in here from 9th may till the 16th may 2014 the apartment was cleaned every day but you do have to get your own toilet roll but as I was self catering I think that this was part of the deal ? there are no rooms over looking the pool as the apartments are just over the road well I say road its more like a lane all rooms over look the garden with only a few over looking the front of the apartments the hotel is good if you are on a budget and the center of sidari is aprox 10 min walk soft drinks are 2 euros from the bar but there is a shop just next to the appartments and will cost you 70cent the food is good and price is ok

Room Tip: there are no rooms over looking the pool as the apartments are just over the road well I say road it...
