the takis studios, lovely staff, typical greek accomadation, rooms had two single pine beds with mozi nets, small kitchette, and wet room,if you have been to greece before you know what i mean,if you have not, then basically when you have a shower it goes every where, and do not forget to put toilet tissue in bin and not down toilet.
I had a room with a front and back garden, very quiet and peaceful, must admit i only used the room for sleeping,as i travelled on my own,but it was cleaned every day.
has a small bar area, which only stays open at nights if guests are in,most people walk up to the strip at nights so it wouyd close by 8pm.
breakfast was good, pool area clean and tidy,Takis studios are worth a visit is you want a peaceful trip, and only 5mins from the strip

Room Tip: takis 2,older studios, have garden front and back, and quiet

Just returned from a fantastic 2week stay in sidari. We stayed in the takis2 which were lovely. Very clean,a good sized room but a little bathroom but we managed fine. There were mosquito nets provided in the bedroom and a good sized kitchen and 2 balconies.
The pool area was great we all loved the pool especially my 8 year old son!! There were plenty of sun beds no matter what time of the day you came to the pool which is an added bonus. The pool bar is reasonably priced and we couldn't fault the food. However the highlight of our holiday was the wonderful Christiana who manages everything. Christiana is a angel and bends over backwards to make your stay special.
The apartments are 2/3 minutes away from the old town and the nearest beach and the canal. The main strip is 5 minutes walk away with plenty of bars and resturants. The best place to eat by far is across the road from the path to the takis called 'The Family'.
Sidari is a lovely family resort with plenty to do.. Please try a trip on the horse and carriage with Alex a little trip round sidari not to be missed!

Room Tip: We stayed in rm 30 in takis 2 away from the pool area so nice and quiet. Also a corner apartment so...

Pool was also great never very full which is what we liked!! My 11 yr old son also learned to swim on holday which made it all the more fun for him.

I returned 2 weeks ago from Sidari, Takis II Apartments and was pleasantly pleased. I too had read some poor reports and was concerned. However I needn't have been, they were spacious, clean, had a lovely balcony and very well equipped, even had mosquito nets. The staff were pleasant and wanted to please, they were available for any concerns. Asked for a tin opener and got it within mins. Beach was literally round the corner and there were quite a few stores to buy food and water. We ate on the last night at the Aspasia Taverna which is the first Taverna you encounter on the left when heading to the main strip, which again was a short walk away. The Taverna had the best food we had eaten in Sidari and I would well recommend a visit. Had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay at the Takis II apartments again.

Room Tip: Eat at the Aspasia Taverna, Lovely food and friendly staff.

Horror struck as we walked up a dirt track in the dead of night. But a 2 minute walk and the horror turned to sheer delight. Peace and tranquility whilst being 2 mins from the beach, supermarket, bars, and tavernas. Everything is on your doorstep whilst not invading your space. Takis apartments are spacious and clean. Remember you didn't pay for 5 star. There are plenty of sun beds no matter what time of day. It's Greek time so don't expect bar service from 8am. When the bar does open around 9am ish there is plenty to choose from. We found the food great at Takis and in all the tavernas with matching prices. There is plenty to do during the day and evening. It's a great place for the young through to old. I would definately visit Sidari again and definately stay at the Takis apartments. Olympic are hit and miss but aren't they all. We had a great day out at Aqualand but missed the sunset on the sunset evening! Thanks Olympic.

The sea is warm and the beach is clean. Sidari is generally clean. There is a stinky bridge which we didn't mind because of the wildlife which my daughter loved.

We went self catering but ate out as it was cheap enough.

The apartments have everything you need from mosquito nets, hair dryers, clean towels, bedding, and basic cooking equipment/utensils. Take some insect repellent and not the cheap rubbish. We took an iron but didn't need it. We just hung clothes on the washing line on the balcony and the breeze sorted the creases.

Christiania who ran the apartments was excellent. She was always around and offered first class service, plus was great with kids. The Greek night was value for money. The guests organised a bingo night and were superb, mainly due to the unprofessional self elected bingo caller. I hope this carries on. Christiania will support any event.

Any poor reviews are either due to unfair high expectations or just pure bad luck.

Caroline, Chris and Paige.

Just returned from a week at the takis apartments in sidari and had a lovely time. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews but was happy with what we got for the money we paid. There was everything you need in the apartment i.e. microwave, toaster, kettle etc.and the pool was the best yet, Sun all day long , clean, warm. Christiana was lovely and couldn,t do enough for you. We had mosquito nets and we paid extra for air conditioning which was a god send because of the heatwave they were having. We will be returning sometime in the future.

Room Tip: Rooms 4 - 9 are the best. They overlook the pool.
