Had dinner at Curly Tails and enjoyed the fish. We had Mahi Mahi and red snapper, both prepared tastefully. Service was pleasant and enjoyable.

Food is average and unfortunately usually cold. Excellent drinks and friendly service. This is the only place that includes the service charge. Some dinner dishes are marginal at best.

Good location, right on the water next to the charter-boat location. Extensive menu and good service.

We had lunch here while waiting for the ferry to Great Guana Cay. The food and service was very good. There's a nice view of the harbor and a refreshing breeze. Really nice place to pass the time while waiting for the ferry. Free wifi too. Closed on Tuesdays though so we didn't get to eat there on our way back home.

Reading the prior reviews on Tripadvisor there seems to be a divergence of opinion about Curly Tails.
We visting the place twice, Once we went to the upstairs casual bar/restaurant, the second time to the downstairs white-table cloth, more formal restaurant. I'd have to say that both times we had really excellent service and food. The upstairs bar is elevated with a great view of the marina and harbour. It can get a little breezy up there, especially on a cool night. The service was friendly and quick. The menu is limited to perhaps 8-10 small plate items but they had outsiding seafood up there. TV's are available for sports viewing as seems to be the passion now at most bars, even in the Outer Islands.
The downstairs restaurant is more formal. No flipflops and bathing suits there. At night it is quite dark in the restaurant, to the point we needed a small flashlight to read our tab at the end of the meal. The servers were attentive and efficient, if a bit distant. The food was outstanding. Three of our party had lobster tails, which they rated as outstanding. I had grilled grouper with papaya, which was really good. Curly Tails has some interesting desserts, but the serving sizes of the main courses were such that we were well-filled and couldn't manage more.
Our final verdict on Curly Tails, both upstairs and downstairs was: "Two thumbs up!"
