“Never Disappointed”

The ever changing seasonal menu never disappoints. The local Kolapore Trout on fresh vegetables was delightful. Always nice to see s bustling restaurant at lunch time in Thornbury.

“Great apres ski dinner”

Fantastic small restaurant with very high quality and imaginative food. Not to be missed when you are in the Thornbury area. Try the mushroom crostini!

“Great dinner!”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

My husband and I were staying in Collingwood and based on other user reviews, decided to make a reservation for dinner. We're really glad we did. It was a great evening and the food was excellent. He started with the leek and potato soup which he really enjoyed. We both had Steak Diane and enjoyed it thoroughly. I highly recommend sharing the spiced donuts for dessert. There were 6 cinnamon sugar donut holes - freshly made and warm - served with ice cream, whipping cream and a delicious caramel sauce. I'll be thinking back fondly of that dessert!

It was a quiet Sunday evening so we received great service and the owner showed us what would be on the new spring menu starting this week. It looks like a return visit will be in order based on what they will be serving. HIghly recommend.

“Unexpectedly Good for a town of this size”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

The pappardelle pasta was very flavourful; the ribs were also good, but the half rack was not an overly large serving. The atmosphere was pleasant, a combination of small town and sophistication. Overall, a very nice meal.

“YUMMY!”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

Today, I had the pleasure of going out shopping with my girlfriend for a girls day out. We stopped at this restaurant and oh my goodness, it was simply delish! We shared the scallops for the appetizer, done with sun dried tomatoes, peas, lemon..followed by the arugula salad that they had on special that day with roasted asparagus, portabello mushrooms, prusciutto, with a thyme vinaigrette. Then we shared the pulled pork grilled cheese sandwich and the buttermilk chicken sandwich. Fries were great. Needless to say, we were totally stuffed with unfortunately, no room for desert. Next time. I would so recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere was just lovely with fresh flowers on all the tables. The wait staff were very pleasant.
