I just went on a girls spa weekend and we stayed here. It was our first time at any B&B and I was quite surprised at how lovely it can be. Marcia was such an amazing host with a wealth of information on the town and activities in the area.

The breakfast they served was delicious and sophsiticated. I felt so spoiled with all the yummy food they served us that my tummy is sad that it only gets cereal in the morning now.

All I can say is that this was an amazing weekend and it was only because Marcia and Peter were amazing hosts.

I highly recommend going to this area in the fall because the fall leaves are a beautiful site.

Room Tip: Choose the room with the king bed. The mattress was amazing! Simplicity Bistro and Dam Pub are grea...

We booked this B&B with another couple for the Collingwood Elvis Festival. When we arrived, we were greeted by our friendly hosts, Marcia and Peter and their sweetheart of a dog Raven, who loves new guests! We had driven up from Kitchener on a Friday after a long week at work and were struck by the quiet peacefulness of the property.

The home is stunning. Extremely clean, with nice touches for decorating - "it's all in the details". Original woodwork in this century home was hand sanded and stained by Peter. The bedrooms have the old transom windows. Quality shows everywhere.

The rooms were well stocked with water in the mini-fridge, and snacks, and you could get coffee any time in the kitchen. We felt so comfortable and at home. Marcia and Peter have lived in the area a long time and can recommend places to eat and things to see. We didn't have a lot of time because Elvis was our reason to visit!

Breakfast both mornings was delicious. Lots of options including fruit and fresh pastries/breads. I like a variety at b&b's and we weren't disappointed having an omelette one day, with bacon, and French "croissants" with sausage the next! Even Peter contributes in the kitchen!

The ONLY caveat for some might be the fact that in the Westwind suite, the private bathroom is actually not within the room itself. It is your own bathroom but it is in the hallway - compared to the Valleyview suite which has an ensuite bathroom. Likely isn't a concern for most, but worth a quick mention. The website does say "private bathroom" for this room, as opposed to "ensuite". The advantage of the Westwind though is that it has a little living room to relax if you want to catch up on scores before hitting the sack :-).

Would most definitely recommend and plan to return!

Room Tip: Valleyview room has ensuite bathroom.

We have just returned from a delightful stay at this wonderful B & B! Marcia & Peter [Raven too] made us feel very welcome, we soon felt at home. The beautifully decorated suite, well equipped with everything we might need, was perfect & had its own sitting room. There are fabulous views from all the widows of the surrounding countryside and the breakfasts were delicious, plus extra treats for snacking on during the day. The location is perfect for visiting the area with ample supply of good restaurants. We definitely will visit again soon.

Marcia and Peter are the perfect hosts (and don't forget Raven...so cute). They know the area really well and have great advice for you if you are wondering what to do, what to eat and what to see!

Everything was perfect from the suite to the food (the omelette was delicious...with some "herbes de provences" on top). The best part was being able to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio while looking at the mountains and the horses and listening to the frogs.

For anyone who is looking for a B&B in this area you definitely should stay at Heathcote Haven B&B! Marcia & Peter we will visit you again!

From the moment you enter Heathcote you feel right at home. This beautifully renovated home has everything to make your stay comfortable (ie. newly model bathrooms, jet bathtub, personal TV with blue ray player, in suite snacks and mini fridge, and so much more). The grounds are kept immaculate and the beautiful country/mountain view is breath taking. Marcia and Peter (your hosts), put on a wonderful breakfast and give you the ins and outs of the local areas. Their wealth of local restaurants, art galleries, shopping, and fun things to do is amazing.

You CAN'T go wrong with staying here! We'll visit again for sure.

Just got back from an overnight stay at Heathcote Haven B&B. It's a lovely house located in a magnificent country setting. The rooms are clean, luxurious and quiet. Marcia and Peter are great hosts. They were very happy to share ideas of things to see and do in the area, and made us feel most welcome. We highly recommend this B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Both rooms are lovely.

My partner and I wanted to get away from the city and have a romantic weekend. Heathcote Haven was the perfect refuge!! Marcia and Peter made us feel comfortable and right at home, with every little detail thought of ahead of time, from the bottle of wine and freshly made popcorn waiting for us when we arrived, to a beautiful candle and matches conveniently located in our suite. The place was beautiful. The food was delicious - a fabulous brekafast with home made baked goods overlooking gorgeous scenery and heated tile flooring! Marcia catered to my vegetarianism and my parnter's insatiable love for meat. Also, we were able to take the hosts's dog, Raven, for a snowshoe with us, which was the icing on the cake. Truly, Peter and Marcia made us feel right at home, down to the last detail. We will absolutely be going back and recommend it unequivocally to anyone looking for a bed and breakfast in the area.
