“Wow”

Put aside at least an hour for this experience. The museum has a HUGE variety of vehicles; country of manufacture, makes and vintage so will appeal to anyone interested in any automobiles. Even two planes, many motorbikes and even bicycles. Many vehicles have a story to tell which is what really extends the visit. Don't forget to check out the downstairs area. Dress warmly as the museum is not heated.

It was very educational seeing the history of automobiles and bicycles and motorbikes plus more, the premises were tidy and well presented.

“Cars with a story”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

Stands alone as an experience, in an easily accessible location, far from the madding crowd. Quite unlike Blackhawk and the Harrah collections, but for its isolated location above all a great experience, especially if you get the chance to see the restoration jobs that are works in progress.
Obvious that the man - Len Southward - who started it all, had a love and passion for cars. Appeal of the collection is not limited to just adults, something for everyone no matter their age or gender.

“Essential for day dreamers who aspire to nice things”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

Wonderful experience. Great chance to wander round in one's thoughts experiencing the passion and dedication behind this collection. The Restoration Manager John is a total star - helping us appreciate the very best in motoring history. There were so many cars that stimulated my thoughts on the world and times they were seen on the roads. Wow.

“World standard”
Reviewed April 22, 2014

It is quite surprising to find such a magnificent car collection is such an obscure place. Maybe not quite up there with Mulhouse, but there is a lot to like here.
