“Good Lunch”
Reviewed February 21, 2012

A bit pricey but what in New Zealand is not. The mussels and steak sandwich were very good and the service was ok. Nice water views.

“Not their fault”
Reviewed February 8, 2012

I had an accident entering restaurant, and staff were sort of not worried. Had to take a taxi to Invercargill to hospital. Yes I did have broken bones.

Wonderful food, great ambience and amazing views. One of the highlights of our trip to the South island! Thouroughly recommend a visit if you are in the vicinity.

“Great fish and chips and a stunning view.”
Reviewed August 20, 2011

This restaurant is perched a little way up the side of the cliff, with large picture windows overlooking the sea so there is only glass and a few islands between you and the South Pole. The welcome was warm and the service efficient. We had blue cod and chips (yes, I know it's the stock dish round here,) but nevertheless it was very nicely done,. The fish came with really good, crisp batter and it was reasonably priced at $22 for a very substantial plateful. More than worth it for the view alone, but you could just have a coffee or a drink if you didn't want a full meal.
