We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Stewart Island. The hotel was built in 1937 and the current owner, Sherry, has done it up and opened it as a hotel 8 months ago. Our room was clean with an en suite, shower and toilet. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was good and freshly cooked. Breakfast was the best we've had in NZ, with freshly squeezed orange juice. There is off road parking at the back of the hotel.
Sherry also let us park our car there while we were in Stewart Island.
