Good sized unit (in main entrance and turn hard left and right to the end). Reception was pleasant and I was shown to the room by a nice lady. Room is of very good size with a kitchen and large bathroom. Bed was a little lumpy (needs a down liner). There were two downlights above the cooking area but both were out or I could not locate the switch even though I searched high and lo. I tried to phone reception but got no reply and in fact the phone sounded faulty. So I cooked in the dimmest of light.

The rail line is across the road and it is an angled intersection where the road switches from one side of the rail line to the other so trucks would slow down with air brakes or chopping through the gears both making a lot of noise. As well the occasional train rumbling through didn't help with the sleep.

It is not close to the town and to go anywhere would mean using the car.

Only consolation was it was not expensive and probably value for money.

Room Tip: As far away from the road and rail line as possible.

We had an overnight stay here, thank goodness just one night, as the location of the hotel is on a main road and BIG trucks all night.
No aircon in room, so it was very hot and stuffy.
Kitchen facility was good and the room itself is a decent size, but the noise was too much.

We 3 found the position of the motel close to an intersection that numerous trucks changed through their gears all night made for interrupted sleep. The room was a bit dated and was not good value.Would be better motels in town for same tariff. The manager was not very helpful with information.

The one bedroom unit for our one night stay was spacious and clean. The receptionist was a bit grumpy and not very welcoming , however his partner was lovely and friendly. A couple of warnings, busy road and the main bedroom, which was a mezzanine , very very hot . Although a fan and vent were supplied it was still very hot , just no air flow. Dispute the size of the unit the lounge was quite small and there was only a small couch to sit on , not great for three people. Value for money - getting up there.

Room Tip: Be warned noisy because of trucks.

Well we didn't actually get to stay at O'Reilly's, we arrived to check in for our CONFIRMED booking only to be told they had double booked! We received no prior notification and had been palmed off to another motel. The guy at reception (I assume was the owner) really didn't seem to care and when I objected said "well that's the way it is"! Not happy at all and would NEVER book there again.
