We only had the chance to stay for one night, but enjoyed it nonetheless. The Chateau is beautiful, it appears the rooms have recently been de orated based on how unblemished they are. The formal public areas are equally as well decorated as the rooms.
It’s located on the banks of the river, although it’s not the prettiest. I had a quick swim in the pool which is nicely landscaped and quite secluded.
They have serve yourself wine which comes at a cost, but was a nice touch.
The only downsides are:
It’s very remote and not in the most scenic part of Bordeaux, surrounded by high voltage power lines and concrete manufacturing facilities.
On the morning of our departure the Chateau lost power so we could have breakfast nor could my wife use the hair dryer etc. this obviously isn’t the Chateau’s fault.
I loved our stay but may not stay here again due to the remoteness and reliance on a car.

We stayed 5 nights and occupied the beautiful spacious suite with the terrace overlooking the river. Beautiful location, charming chateaux and gorgeous surroundings!
The service was excellent from the time we booked the room to the end of our stay. The staff was very attentive and made multiple reservations at wineries and restaurants. Interestingly, the person at the front desk was super efficient and served multiple roles as concierge (made reservations), chef (went into kitchen to prepare our food order), and server (set up our table for dinner and served us).
The location was perfect as we visited many wineries in the Haut Medoc, and St. Emillion region. It was away from the hustle bustle of Bordeaux centre and we made good use of our rental car visitng wineries or going into the city for dinner.

An isolated location by the river, the sound of birds. Staff are inconspicuous but very attentive. The whole place has a sort of calm simplicity about it, which is very appealing. Rooms are luxurious and comfortable.

If you want to be away from the city hustle and bustle this place is perfect, although you will need a car as there is nowhere nearby to walk to. Breakfast is at an extra charge and is adequate. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Overall a very enjoyable stay!

Beautiful hotel! Friendly staff, great views, nice size rooms. Only complaint, the breakfast is expensive for what it is. Pics from room 4! Check in was easy as was check out. If your heading to Bordeaux and don’t want to stay in the city center, this place is it!
