100% brilliant! Chockfull of history, memories and things we shouldn't forget! The whole set up is excellent. Wont tell you too much, so you will just have to go! You are given an ID card for a resident and you can find info about them somewhere inside! I totally recommend!

This museum was very well presented. Our only complain was that we had to wait quite a while for a bus to pick us up, and the only place to sit was in the cafe. Outside benches would be very helpful.

I love a museum. But it has to be good. This one was laid out with excellence, where it found a good balance of providing facts and emotion of the difficult time. Things I would never have realised happened as a result of the occupation. It is ultimately a story of love, betrayal, anger, hunger, patriotism and loyalty. One room in particular really got me, and I have never seen anything so effective before. Even the kids were captivated!
P.S. Going on a wet day will be everyone's plan - be warned, because the queues are very long (or be smart and pre-book)

We visited here on a wet afternoon expecting to kill an hour and ended up staying the entire afternoon. The tunnels are huge and the exhibits provide a good insight into the nazi occupational period of the island. Highly recommend visiting!!!

Well worth a visit go to this early on your stay as you will understand and can relate to other attractions concerning the German Occupation. If you wish to visit I suggest the afternoon or late morning, the tourist buses all arrive between 10 am and 11 a.m and it is very very crowded by 1 pm you can wander at your pace and don't have to wait to get in and out of parts of the tunnels in a queue. Also the shop and cafe are quieter by then.
