We ate at several of the restaurants on Samui that the guidebooks describe as "upmarket" and this was definately the best food we had. There is lots more than just fish on the menu. Service was good and the airconditioning, a rarity in Samui restaurants, was merciful. The heat and humidity at other streetside restaurants usually killed our appetites but here we could really tuck in.
