Perfect for chilling out

We stayed here for 4 nights in March- the accommodation is clean and homely bungalows- yes a little dark inside (but we were not there to spend masses of tie indoors)

The hotel were very accommodating when we arrived our room had a double bed however we had stated we would need 2 singles- this was rectified within 15 mins of us arriving. It was also my friends birthday while we were there and I had brought banners and balloons which the hotel kindly displayed on our patio on the morning of my friends birthday and also arranged her a cake for us to have afternoon cake and cocktails on the beach.

The beach is beautiful- not too crowded, free sun lounger and parasols available. The water is perfect for swimming and hotel is bang on the beach. There are also many vendors walking up and down the beach selling everything you could imagine that you would need for a day on the beach plus lots of gift ideas which is fab as you dont have to move off the beach all day of you dont want to. However the vendors are not intrusive and so you will not be bothered by them if you do not wish to purchase anything.

There is a convenience store 5 mins walk away and many restaurants, bars, local amenities within 5-15 min walk and a short 15 in taxi ride to the centre of town (we didnt try walking to center of town so not sure how long this would have taken)

As mentioned previously there were a group of repeat customers who were not so friendly but we just ignored the as they ignored us,

The food was nice and breakfast available- not many choices but fine for 4 nights

Room Tip: Beach front rooms have a lovely view but are not directly on the beach

Stayed at this place after 2 weeks of travelling in Thailand.

We had a room close to the beach. Was soooo dark! And seriously pointless.

I didn ´t like at all the room all dark wood with very old-style furniture.

The bathroom i also found terrible!
Old-school.
Funny that they described that the room had a view... Only thing I saw was the door of the facing room.

The breakfast: nothing i saw before. It´s not buffet. You have to chose what you want and then they bring in terrible coffee, 2 toasts and a frozen-croissant grilled.

The price is not worse it!

To finish, when we checked out, our host was polite enough to go check herself the mini bar in front of us to check if we had drank one of their stuf.

Sooo rude!

Hated it and definitely will never ever go back.

This was the first hotel we stayed in during our visit to Thailand and was an amazing first impression! The hotel is so lovely. Nice and small so it feels intimate while being right on the beach front! The rooms are wooden hut like bungalows, they appeared a little dark at first due to the dark wood colouring but they were a lovely stay. Nice and spacious and cleaned everyday by the staff to a high standard. The staff were excellent!! Always smiles and very helpful. It was my birthday while I was there and they helped my friend organise a cake and decorate my balcony. Such a nice touch! I would agree with the earlier reviews about the hotel "regulars". The atmosphere was a little uncomfortable with some guests totally ignoring us or being quite rude however this is no fault of the hotel and by no means ruined the experience. The hotel is a little further outside the centre of the main area. However we managed to get taxis pretty cheap. I also think this adds to the relaxed feel and there is plenty of amenties near by. Definitely stay here for a great experience of Thailand!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is located on the quiet part of the crazy Chaweng beach, which we really like about this place. The resort and rooms are nicely decorated. The only thing, we wish we could change here is the bed. It is just really hard mattress.

We were incredibly pleased with our stay at Sans Socui, It is located on a beautiful beach on the quieter end of Chaweng. Perfect sand and great spot to swim/play in the ocean. It doesn't have a pool but we were happy with this because 1) it meant less kids (sorry parents) and, 2) the beach there is literally perfect. No need for pool.

The location was also good. Close walking to a great selection of restaurants and shopping. I saw that some say it's far from the touristy part of Chaweng but we found everything we needed within 10 minutes. Also, the comments about no 7-11 are misleading. Although there is not a close 7-11, there is a convenience store 1 minute walk away with exactly the same stuff.

The bed was a little stiff and the pillows sucked but since we were beach vacationing we were too tired to really notice. We stayed in a "Deluxe Near Beach" and we were happy with it.

The food and drinks are pricey but it's easy enough to walk a few minutes away and get cheaper stuff. We even bought some liquor from the convenience store and brought it to the beach and they didn't seem to care at all.

I would recommend this place to anyone and would even stay there again. Seriously though, perfect beach at this spot.

Room Tip: Get the Deluxe Near Beach or the beachfront rooms if you can. You won't regret it.

The hotel offers is really value for money. The rooms are well decorated and spacious. The breakfast is ala card but they have enough choices. The wi-fi is free of charge and works perfectly. They have a small garden and a lake with fish and that creates a nice atmosphere.
Chaweng is really busy but the hotel is on a quite part of the road. There are a few choices of restaurants nearby but we had to walk a lot to find the busy part of the road. If you are not a party person, I am not, then Chaweng maybe is not the best option. This is nothing to do with the hotel. The atmosphere of the hotel is very calm and relaxing but the surroundings not. I am sure that there are much more relaxing beaches in Koh Samui.

They do not have a swimming pool but the hotel is located on the beach.

The staff do not speak very good English but they are helpful and kind.

Overall is a nice hotel. Nothing to complain.

This was my 1st visit to Samui, and after searching extensively for a decent hotel I think I found a little gem, staff friendly, rooms big and cleaned everyday and supplied clean towels for beach as well, free sun beds on the beach, breakfast had a good choice,it's hard to find a fault,I read some reviews where the night life was to far but it's only a 20/25 min stroll and baht bus frequently, for the rates you can't go far wrong as I checked nearby hotels where they were overpriced for the same emenites, recommended and would return.
