Although you will find many resort that are much better, you will also pay double the price or more then. This small resort does pretty well if you do not want to break the bank but still want decent luxury. We paid THB 4500 per 2-person cabin including all taxes, about EUR 100 per night. For that you get all you need with some details for improvement. Rooms are decent in size and decoration. Service is friendly and sufficiently professional. Directly on the beach at the southern end of Chaweng Beach. Good plastic beach loungers with cushion and umbrellas and a guy looking dedicatedly after this.

Only advice would be to try to avoid the row of cabins (200-210) immediately to the left after the reception, since they are located with their backs / bathrooms against the main Chaweng street and street noise can sometimes be heard in your sleeping room.

This little resort is located at the most southern part of Chaweng Bay, therefore you are sufficiently far away from the airport approach and take-off path ... and can enjoy peace and quietness during day and night hours. It consist out of 42 little Thai style villas, some grouped around the pool and about 4 directly at the beach. We had one of the beachfront villas, no more than 15 m to the sea while the beach begins once you step out of your front door. Location to be rated: Super ! The villa in itself had good aircon, a sizable bedroom, decent mattress and an ok bathroom. The shower lacked a bit of mildew cleansing, to be expected in many resorts / hotels located in primarely super humid climates. All in all the villa was very nice due to its' location directly at the beach, just don't expect a super luxury place. Breakfast is being served in a restaurant at the beach, it's sufficient, fresh eggs, omeletts, spicy noodle soop which I really enjoyed. You can expect fresh croissant, Danish, white toast, fresh fruits and cereals in the morning presented in a nice way with friendly service. We experienced well trained personell with a good knowledge. In the evenight you can have dinner at the beach as well as in the fish restaurant across the street, called ,, The Chef '' . Food at The Chef is mixed, international, Thai, pizza ... what you fancy. Price, service and quality is medium! but the location is convenient if you don't feel like heading for the heart of Chaweng. As outstanding I would like to mention the beach service of Thyp, the Thai beach service guy who arranged beach towels at our favourite sun beds even before we woke up, a second sun shade and a cool Singha at the blink of an eye. Can really recommend this little resort, if you like a family style service and don't mind afew inperfections here and there.

Room Tip: If you like beach front, go for the Samui Suite !

It was our first time in Thailand and we loved it! This resort is just on the beach, with a few steps you´re in the water. Pitty you have to go there via staircase - erosion made it´s job and sand is very low from where it used to be before.

Beautiful weather, very good and attentive service and reasonable prices. International kitchen, excellent breakfasts, poolboy was always there, smiling and offered towels, beach service etc. You could walk at night very very far - water was almost hot and sand is very tender. There are lots of restaurants on the beach, also massages, bars...
You can afford taking massage almost every days, it´s very cheap.

Change the bahts (local currency) because they use it.

In the evening you can leave the resort and walk thru the city (just watch the traffic that is very high) - there are shops with everything and it seems to be neverending. Food, restaurants, fake goods. Simply everything. Don´t miss this part, you can eat there very very cheap.

Resort organises also trips to other islands (Ko Phangan, Ko Tao) and that is very interesting.

In general - safe resort, great staff, I can highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: Honeymoon suite or suite is the best, but also very expensive.

We stayed in Koh Samui the first time, and we regreded the choice of this hotel not a bit. The pool area is great and also the beach area is nice. The accomodation (we had a medium sice bungalow) is small but everything you need is there, and made of nice wood an looks great. The employes are very nice, espacially Johon and her husband Freddy, they are the best and made our stay really pleasante with there worm and nice character.
