Beautiful Boutique Resort set in the quiet end of Chaweng, the resort has its style ,nicely furnished, out door massage, small decent size public pool/ sunbake area facing the beach. facilities is clean and the staff is friendly. we tried out both 999 Sunrise suite wiz hot tub & Duplex Suite both just as stunning. for next time in KohSamui i will definitely stay here again and this place would be great for honey mooners too.

Room Tip: The duplex suite has 1 1/2 floor ,beding sets on the top floor , hot bath tub is on the bottom floor...

My fiance and I stayed at Kirikayan for 5 nights. My first impression was that this resort was beautiful, and I was very excited. However, within the first day, a series of events left me a negative impression of this place. We were shown to our room on the second floor. Lighting wasn't great, because it has high dark-stained wood ceilings, but it was no big deal. We start unpacking, and noticed a USED condom in the bathroom trash can! That disgusted me and made me question the cleanliness of this place. We call front desk about this, and they send someone to change the trash bag immediately. I give the place a second chance. At the end of the day, I was about to take a shower, but there was no hot water. I finish taking a freezing shower before I call the front desk about this. Finally they move us to a room on the first floor that had hot water, better lighting, and appeared clean. After all that we went through, we weren't compensated for all the discomfort we experienced. Location wise, it's not bad. It is on the southern end of the strip, but still able to walk everywhere. I wish they offerred their guests mosquito repellent misting systems in the rooms. I wouldn't stay here again if I were to return to Chaweng.

Me and my wife had booked this place for three nights, but were very disappointed with the place and left after one night (September 2013). In our opinion this is not a resort, but rather a simple basic hotel. For those who wants to enjoy Chaweng Beach and a real Koh Samui experience we highly recommend to pick another place.
- The pool is very small and uninviting.
- The sea shore is narrow. The hotel is located in the the south end of Chawend Beach which is less attractive.
- The number of pool/sea chairs is pretty small, and with no shade (this was very important for us)
- The breakfast wasn't good, with limited selection
- The customer service is terrible. The girls at the front-desk could not help us and their English is very minimal. They suggest us to call the manager but he didn't reply to ours calls.

On the good side, the room was big and nice.

We do not recommend this hotel.

Me and my partner stayed here for 11nights the beginning of October and has been by far the best holiday we have ever had!
Hotel and Location was beautiful and being at the quiet end of chaweng beach so peaceful and clean, yet only 10min walk from the amazing nightlife of chaweng if u fancy cutting a few shapes in the clubs!
The staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and probably the most smiley, happiest people I have ever met , giving happy hour a whole new meaning :)
Speaking of happy hour ...., cocktails from pool bar are Delicious We highly recommend the Cosmo (2 for the price of 1, before you know it youv had 4) lol! There is nothing we did not like about the hotel, location or staff. Even the restaurant within the hotel was amazing! We ate here a few times during our stay as we loved the seafood platter for two and as I have already said the staff were so friendly. The singer even made it a unique romantic experience remembering us and taking the time to come over and speak to us while we were waiting for our meal.

All in all the best holiday ever!! thanks to the Kirikayan staff for making us feel welcome and looking after all our needs. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!! Not only for location and friendlyness but for sheer bliss! :).

Spent 9 night on our honeymoon.. Staff so friendly and helpful. Duplex room was massive. Pool and beach was perfect. Only very small, but exactly what we wanted. Nice and intimate. Quiet end of town but close enough to a selection of restaurants and bars, or 20 min walk to clubs. Good breakfast, lunch and dinner was good food but maybe a little overpriced, but you pay for what you get. Evening entertainment wasn't the best so put us of eating there more.
Would definitely return if I had the chance

We stayed at at the Kirikayan Boutique for a few days in July 13. This was a really great boutique hotel. We stayed in a studio room and it was quite spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. An excellent resort.....very friendly staff and full of energy...

Must visit for a romntic stay.

Kirikayan Boutique Resort Ko Samui

We live in Thailand and had not visited Ko Samui for a while, previously we had stayed at OP bungalows, but decided this time to spend more and indulge ourselves

The last night we were staying we preordered a red snapper, the previous evening, about one kilo, in the Chalaybun Restaurant part of the hotel. It was excellent, crispy with the bone removed and a very spicy sauce, some of the best fish I have eaten in many years, the desert chocolate soufflé with ice cream was also very good, unlike the cold crepe suzette we ate on a previous evening, in the same place; that was as bad as the soufflé was good

We chose Kirikayan on the bottom end of Chaweng beach, for six nights, we had booked early and on arrival told the room we booked was not available and we were being upgraded. The photos on the internet are very clever, and every possible lens must have been used to create the impression; and the one of the pool whilst factual, gives a very different impression of reality

The hotel is a remarkable feat of imagination and creativity on a narrow strip to the beautiful beach front, getting so many rooms into such a small space, the close proximity is well covered with many lovely tropical plants

We were shown to the new room on the second floor with living room downstairs and the bed on the floor squeezed into the second floor up a narrow concrete staircase, some ten steps and no handrail, and the air
conditioning really only serving the down stairs, after half an hour I went to reception to explain the bed on the floor was not very good for me being a pensioner and having problems getting up from the floor, also the extra steps were dangerous when going to the bathroom when half asleep in the night and there was no television in the bedroom, I enquired could we have what we booked, some six weeks earlier

We were given a new room by the nice and smiling reception, room number 1/3, on the ground floor, much better but a little cramped, no chair or writing table, beautifully furnished with lovely colours and many cushions, but nowhere to store them, space was cleverly saved with using a tree branch with hooks instead of a wardrobe. It was good we had suitcases as we then had somewhere to put our clothes. The bathroom was very good with water so hot you could scald yourself on it, either a temperature controller or big sign needs to be posted, children using the hot water could seriously harm themselves, as in fact I nearly did myself, being used in Thailand to only tepid hot water

The rooms were very clean and all the staff very helpful and smiling

I had trouble with the internet and reception tried very hard to help switching me from one modem to another , however it would only work in some parts of the room and was then the slowest I have ever used so slow at times to be almost unusable, even in reception it was not much better. I found it very frustrating.

The swimming pool was very beautiful but most days it was not possible to get sun loungers or tables with shade, and again on the beach there were no sun loungers available, simply because there were not enough, there was no space by the pool but plenty on the beach

The buffet breakfast is quite comprehensive, the bacon, I think is cooked one day when it is underdone by the third day it has become overdone, (being reheated) likewise the hash browns but by day three they are baked too hard to eat, the eggs are very good and freshly cooked, the bread is at least a couple of days old and not fresh, the butter is kept next to the toaster so it is nicely melted The fresh yogurt is good but would be better if kept chilled, and again maybe reserved from the previous day

On out last day there we wanted to lounge by the pool or on the beach but there were no spaces available. Also no table, to have lunch by the pool, the internet was not working and the television in the room just a noise and spots, we were leaving soon so I started writing my review!!

I travel a reasonable amount and have visited many wonderful hotels,
this was not one of my best choices, I much prefer the simpler OP Bungalows up the beach which is under half the price with plenty of shade on the beach, and rooms twice the size

Would I go back, would I recommend it, unfortunately no to both

Room Tip: ask for one with a wardrobe
