Although the hotel is located on the northern & quite side of the Island it still is within easy reach of Chaweng Beach ( 5 minutes) . Great location with superb views located on a steep hill side ( if you dont mind walking)- no lifts here ! They have shuttle buggies that take you around to your room if you cant be bothered walking. The Bar ( happy hour is great although service can be slow) . The Barge restaurant is a great Thai place and affordable with fantastic views. The staff are all friendly and the infinity pool (s) are just awesome. Koh Samui rocks!!!!!!

Room Tip: the largest rooms in Koh Samui - huge bathrooms and comfotable beds- loved it !!!

it took us half an hour to get checked in when we arrived. there was no turndown service in the room. hotel should provide more free shuttle bus service to the center instead of charging for most of the time slots.

whah what can I say. It´s not a bad hotel, it´s clean, the staff is nice, the swimmingpool is beautiful but the overwell atmosfere is very grumphy. A five star hotel should have a warm and personal welcome to his guests, but that´s the big point in this hotel, it´s maybe to big, and it´s feels like a running fabric with a target. Checking in was taking 45 minutes, and everywere in the hotel are hanging signs and warnings from what they are expecting from you as a guest. We felt like little kids. This hotel is very unpersonal, and they think that every guest is a thief. In the room is big paper with 21 points prices what you have to pay when things a missing from your room (f.e. teaspoon 385 bath, and if you have the urge to take the minibar folder with you then you have to pay 1000 bath, actually we had a lot of fun about this list) More than over 15 years I stay at least 30 times a year in 4 and 5 star hotels businesslike and I never have seen this before. This is a defense attitute you expect in a prison or at an military school, not in a five star hotel. I called for a golfcart to bring us to the beach. 20 minutes later still nothing. I called again and the lady just told me that my room was not far away uphill so I couldn´t use this service! and this without give us a call back to tell me over this hotelpolicy. For this price you can stay in lovely resorts and boutique hotels at samui. We are dissapointed and will never come back to noraburi. The staff overall is nice and friendly, but I think there is something fundamental wrong with the management. They probably hate guests. And pity enough that is the air....

Nora Buri is conveniently located about 15 minute drive from the airport and about 4 kms to the main Chaweng market. Transport is easily available and we enjoyed the day trip sightseeing through a tour operator.

The service was very satisfactory with the ever-smiling and courteous staff. The rooms are so planned along the gradient of the hill so that every guest enjoys ocean views. It is a bit difficult to climb up and down to the room but the buggy comes in helpful. All amenities for relaxation and sports are provided.

The rooms are well appointed and designed including a sit-out facing the ocean. Bathrooms too are well planned with details on guest comfort being looked into.

Nora Buri is ideal for quiet and solitude at the same time being conveniently located for nightlife, shopping, sightseeing, etc.

Room Tip: It would be good to request for rooms closer to the Pool, etc to avoid climbing up and down the hill.
