I suppose you can order Thai food there, but you're over paying. It's decent, but for the price you pay, you could have eaten for a week in Samui at any of the hundreds of Thai restaurants.

Ate here on a rather rainy day. Pizza was great and the restaurant had enough variety if you're looking to get away from streat meat and various other Thai food. The view was also great so for your money, I think it's a good place to grab a bite. I will for sure come back again.

Had a great table on the balcony overlooking the rocks and sea! Service good, food nice - Another of the better restuarants but at the upper leve in price.

This review is based purely on a recent (Sept 27, 2012) evening meal which from the outset we felt wasn't right. The waiters serve the food and then avoid eye contact for dear life but fortunately the owner was there who politely and professionally believed our misgivings and took the offending dishes away - Pad Thai & Green Curry Chicken. Sadly for us the starters - Morning Glory and a dish called No-name we had already eaten.
Clearly despite us only finishing 50% of our meal it was enough to have us holed up in our hotel for 2 days.
I suspect a combination of problems during the wet-season in Koh Samui.
1. All the good chefs and staff move on to make more money in Singapore / Bangkok
2. The lack of tourists means that passing trade is down and therefore food (particularly steamed rice) is left to be re-heated too many times = a hot bed for salmonella
3. The ingredients are not as fresh
4. The turnover is much lower and therefore quality ingredients are substituted for poorer quality.

Beware

We tried here on a recommendation from friends and weren't disappointed. It's a bit out the way, up the hill south of Chaweng and cost us B400 in a taxi from Choeng Mon. The food was really nice, I had calamari in panko breadcrumbs followed by a (seriously) hot and spicy pizza and my wife had a capricciosa. Pizzas were proper Italian style with a light base and the cheese, sauce and toppings were delicious. We had some lovely cocktails and also had a bottle of the house red, Montepulciano which was delicious but as with all wine in Thailand, expensive. Service was excellent, we weren't rushed even tho we were the last customers in the restaurant. The view from the restaurant is lovely too, above rocks overlooking the beach at Chaweng. Well worth a visit!
