We came to the Jungle Club with friends for lunch in March, as we were visiting the island for our Granddaughter's wedding. When we arrived we were taken to our own hut on the edge of the cliff with spectacular views. We had lunch here which was excellent and then swam in the pool there. The people were lovely, and it made our day here very enjoyable. It's a must on your itinerary and easy to get to!

The views and setting of the place is absolutely breath taking, it is truly amazing place - we were in thailand for 3 weeks and this was our favourite place. Food was great, cocktails were nice and swimming pool is lush. The only thing that lets the place down is the service of some of the staff. But all in all, it was a great p,ace and would recommend people to go!

We stayed at Jungle Club for a couple of nights and enjoyed the experience.(in the 2800 baht room) It's a great place to kick off into relaxation mode, but not ideal for long stays, in my opinion. The 4x4 trips in the night-time, the infinity pool with its amazing amazing views, just lounging from one comfy spot on the deck to the next all add to the experience. Being vegetarian, the food choices are limited, but the staff were accommodating and told us that they could customize any dish for us. We didn't try too many things but the best and safest was the veg fried rice sans fish sauce. Not too exciting but it was tasty and all we needed during a perfect day of chilling out. The staff were quite friendly but the vibes were all mixed up. As long as you just do your own thing and enjoy the gorgeous views, you're assured of a good time.

If you want to relax then have a stay at the jungle club. Up on a hillside the veiws are amazing. The infinity pool is beautiful and the whole area is made for relaxation with scattered chairs and platforms where you can escape to.

The food is lovely and the staff will serve you wherever you are.

The staff are very friendly but at times a little too relaxed meaning you sometimes have a little wait for your order. This didnt really bother us as we were in relaxation mode anyway!

The hotel is up a very steep hill and local taxis dont always go up. We met a couple of people who had to walk up as the taxi dropped them off at the bottom. We pre arranged our transfers with samui explorer so got taken up in a 4x4. Otherwise the hotel offer a service which runs at certain times oryou can prearrange. Make sure you have the hotels card with you so you can ring them if you want picking up! Another review mentions that they only take you to one place but we got lifts to a quite beach and a cashpoint and to a specific resturant.

If we are lucky enough to go back to samui we will certainly head back up the hill to the jungle club, it is a fantastic place to chill out.

The views from these rooms and accommodation were amazing! The rooms were also more than I was expecting for 800baht per night. Rooms were semi open to the elements, so geckos and insects were able to enter room at their own will however that's expected considering the resort is named 'jungle club'. The man on reception was helpful however I agree with the previous review saying he was smug and hard to gel with and we gel with most people although he arranged us a jeep so that we could explore samui ourselves. Having to rely on the resort to drive us up and down the hill was a pain and by no means ideal however the views more than made up for this!!
