The menu has a solid core and range of excellent specials. The cooking is always top notch and really tasty. The real ale range changes regularly and is kept in great condition. A lovely pub and well worth a visit.

Ate here with friends recently and i must say the food was excellent !
The Bulls Head is a local pub in a nice part of Cheshire. The pub has a bar side, sports on t.v etc.
Go through to the lounge though and it's very cosy, the atmosphere is also nice and relaxed.
Friendly staff, great food, choice of real ales.......what more could you possibly want ??

Visitors from Spain, really enjoyed our drink BUT the toilets (gents) were a disgrace. We are led to believe that the food is very good but on evidence of the uncleanliness of the toilets we would be worried that such poor standards extended to the kitchen!!!

We've eaten at the Bulls Head on numerous occasions, every time the food, drink & service has been outstanding so we decided it was about time to leave a review.

Last night was our most recent visit and as usual it was busy enough for a great sociable atmosphere without impacting on service.

Discovered another new ale to put on my list (which you can do most weeks with their constantly changing options) and had another meal that has to be in contention for some of the best food in Frodsham.

We're big fans of the Helter Skelter and Travellers Rest too so this should give you an idea of the standards to expect from the bar & kitchen.

There are the firm favourites on the menu and then the fantastic choice of weekly specials that regularly feature some first class fresh fish (says my wife - I go for the amazing steaks!).....

The decor and feel of the place is that of a good old warm local pub - the food is exceptional and the menu caters for those looking for anything from a hearty steak & ale pie right through to a rich venison steak. Fantastic!
