We stopped by here as had popped up to see family nearby.

There were 4 of us all within our 20's & 30's.

Our family had eaten there many a time and enjoyed it.

On this occasion they did not do as well. Although the food we did have was of a nice quality, they had run out of several things on the menu.

As it was a Sunday we ordered from the set meal menu which included roast dinners. When I say set meal menu I mean they had set priced for 1 / 2 / 3 courses ordered.

After taking our order, they returned to say they had run out of Yorkshire puddings (what a cheek!).

Anyway to the bill, they did not input the correct details into the till and charged us for the individual courses!

Advice would be to check the bill before you leave.

On a whole the food was nice thought.

We did run out of a few items later on this Sunday as we'd done double the normal amount of Sunday lunches. I am sorry if this displeased you.
With regards to your bill - unfortunately our (soon to be replaced) tills need to have every item inputted using a QWERTY system - so we do ring each course through separately i.e 1 course £9.95 and the subsequent courses are rang through as two £1 items to increase the bill to the correct monetary value.
However if you feel you have been over charged please bring your receipt back and we can check it for you.
Alternatively contact Netherton.hall@jwlees.co.uk with the time and date of your visit and I can check via the tills.

Went for a slap up din dins the other week here, very nice food served on boards, what more can you ask for? The food was good nice lamb rump, upper end of the pub food price range due to it being served on boards with a minted pea smear. Slight confusion over the composition of a cheese board rectified satisfactorily. A broader range of real ales required to take this up to a five, and maybe serving some meals on granite tiles like they do on tv.

Book for Sunday dinner at 6pm arrived to no Sunday dinners available and 3 other items were not available on the menu - so a very very limited choice, we made our choice from the very limited selection. We had starters waited a while for the mains to finally be told told the 3 steaks we had ordered were no longer available could we please make another choice!! We asked to speak to the Manager who was neither interested no apologetic. As a family we decided to leave - more to do with the Managers attitude than the lack of food, the Manager kindly suggested he knock the price of the main meals off the menu-- really kind of him as we had NOT even had a main meal !!!
I have been on other days and had no complaints but unfortunately this has put me right off
