We'd walked 7 miles so had built up a good appetite by the time we arrived and we were not disappointed, I managed to wolf two courses down but my other half couldn't finish her dessert (the cheesecake was massive!).
We both had the Sunday Roast, which was absolutely perfect and just the right amount. We were pleasantly surprised by the veg – carrots, broccoli, sugar-snap peas and a great cabbage/mustard dish (trust me, it’s fantastic).
It was our first visit but certainly not our last.

I visited the pub while on holiday in Cheshire at New Year' Had a pub lunch which was excellent. Hand cut chipe and a lovely pie. Nice ambience in beautiful countryside. Highly recommended.

A charming 'real pub' in a lovely country village setting with food to die for. The staff were really pleasant and friendly and the locals were welcoming. The food menu was unique and adventurous with a great twist to basic dishes. Would definitely recommend.

Had visited the Red Bull at Kingsley on many occasions over the past years and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. For no particular reason we hadn't visited for some months so on visiting tonight for an unplanned meal we were somewhat surprised to find it under new management and with a much reduced menu. The atmosphere was the same warm buzz. The decor much fresher. Choice of beers - excellent. So from the menu we chose the fish and chips and the steak. The steak for me was just wow - beautifully presented and so tasty. The best I've had in along time . The fish and chips was equally well enjoyed. So from a small choice of menu (we didn't see the specials board) we chose two excellent meals.

Well done the Red Bull and keep up the excellent work.
