I have stayed in the Old Hall Hotel in Frodsham on and off over a 12 week period and I would recommend it for business, short breaks and even longer if you wish!!
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Colin is on hand to look after your needs behind the bar later in the evening, but be warned!!
He does go on a bit…………. But is very friendly and will always sort you out.
The hotel itself is circa 1800 (or before) century and they have retained a small section of wall in the dinning room to show how it was built.
The rooms are spotless and beds very comfortable. There is a real feel of olde worlde about this hotel and in a very nice way.
Try and get a room in the front! They are the best and the only down side is the Thursday market, but a small price to pay.
The only down side is the showers/baths which have been very poorly installed even though most of the fittings are new and decent quality.
Wet floors and woodwork getting damaged is not in my book of recommendations and is a potential recipe for problems later down the line?
All in all a great hotel and great location and Frodsham itself has a good feel to it with plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you busy.More
