I stayed a mid-week with my family in the house with number 162. We enjoyed the location with the peaceful view on the Mosel. It gave the impression of a live painting. The bungalow was comfortable and modern equipped and in the evening we enjoyed using the fireplace. The indoor swimming pool gets a bit crowded when there are more than 4 families in there, but it was OK. Nice opportunities for walks in the area and not too far from tourist attractions such as the castle of Cochem. For groceries we can recommend the Edeka supermarket in downtown Traben-Trarbach. If you want a vegatarian dish, the drive to Indian restaurant Taj-Mahal in the neighbouring Bernkastel-Kues is worthwhile.

Room tip: We enjoyed the nice view from house 162

The site is ideally located for visiting the Mosel valley and the surrounding area. The chalets are well equipped and spaced out. The site offers good facilities for children. The shop offers a good range of products and the bread and rolls supplied in the mornings in the shop were excellent. The restaurant had a good range on offer at reasonable prices.

Room tip: Ask for a chalet with a view of the Mosel River.

We love Landal GreenParks and the stunning views from our accommodation made our stay very special. While the chalet was smaller than at a previous park, the pool was very user-friendly, staff welcoming and cleanliness at a high level. Just be warned if you arrive late: you cannot get any food at all on site after 9pm. The pool stays open to 10pm but nothing else does.

Room tip: 6CV chalets have amazing views over the Moselle River.

Mont Royal is a bungalow parc by Landal Greenparks (part of Wyndham vacation rentals). We spent two vacations here both during the fall.
There is a range of bungalows to choose from. A part of the bungalows are situated on the hill side overlooking the Mosel river. On our first visit in 2012 we had a bungalow for 4 people on this hill side. The reception/restaurant/central park area is only on a 5-10 minutes walking distance. On our second visit (Nov 2015) we had a luxury bungalow for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and a extra room in with a sauna and sun tanning bed. This bungalow was situated more close to the central parc area.
All bungalows have comfortable furniture.

We liked both our stays here very much. From the park you directly can start your hikes. The path to the village Krov is beautiful crossing the vineyards. Also the village Traben-Trarbach is within 5 minutes driving distance. Larger towns like Cochem, Bernkastel-Kues and Trier are with 1,5 hours reach or less. The parc is very well located in the best part of the Mosel valley.

The park facilities are fine: a small shop with fresh baked breads and rolls every morning, a restaurant (menu is small, food average), swimming pool. There is also a children's playground and animation programme.

We enjoyed our stays here and for sure we will come back. It is a nice place to relax, hike and explore and the bungalows are very comfortable.

Room tip: Bungalows along the hillside provide a great view on the Mosel river!

Located on a hill overlooking the river Mosel, the facility offers small self-catering bungalows built on terraces. There is a restaurant, shop with early-morning buns, pool, midget golf and entertainment, also for children. Excellent place for wine lovers to explore the plethora of wine houses in the area. Good hiking.
