We rented a chateau in nearby Charmont-sur-Tharonne and ate at this nearby establishment on three occasions. Each was marvelous. The two chefs (father and son) are extremely talented and put a modern slant on French classics using the finest local ingredients (including caviar from the Sologne). The dining room is charming and the staff are extremely friendly and bilingual. They will do anything to please, including reworking dishes in order to meet the lactose-free requirements of one of our guests. All things considered, this was one our finest dining experiences in France. Off the beaten track, but well worth a detour.
