Was taken to this restaurant last week as a treat from our boss . Had the most amazing meal , especially the scrambled egg , and bacon starter which was cooked to perfection . Definately worth a visit if your in the area .

Nice garden and if you can eat outside, don't hesitate!
The choice on the menu is limited to 2 starters and 2 main courses ( one fish and one meat ) but it's always fresh and original.

This is a wonderful restaurant. I live close by and went recently after my wife recommended it. Gastro cuisine is the word used the owner. Just the right amount for me, beautifully cooked and not too many choices. Not cheap if your have a glass of wine (only by the bottle), allow for Euors 40 per head to enjoy a meal. I guarantee you though it will be a meal you enjoy.

After hearing nothing but good things about L'Ecole des filles for the past few years, we finally visited this lovely restaurant a couple of weeks ago. It absolutely lived up to our expectations.

The menu changes every week, and consists of just a couple of choices per course. For me, this is always a sign of good food, as the chef is able to focus his efforts on two superb dishes rather than 40 mediocre ones. We were a group of four, and between us were able to try everything on the menu.

It was delicious food, expertly cooked and beautifully presented. The food was refreshingly unusual unlike so many other restaurants in this area of France.

The setting, in an old school building, is very quaint, with gentle reminders of the previous usage of the premises. We sat outside on the candlelit terrace, where the ambiance was lovely.

The service was prompt, attentive and informed. There was a good French wine list.

I will definitely be going back very soon to sample another of their special menus. Highly recommended.

We were staying five minutes walk away from this place. As the name suggests it's the former girls' school and there are all sorts of references back to the original use including pictures on the walls of previous generations of scholars and getting your bill in a pencil box. All charmingly done. Food is excellent. Restricted menu but very high quality and makes it easier to choose! On the first occasion I had a beef teryaki based dish that was full of flavour followed by a sublime octopus affair with amazing pasta. My wife had a vegetatrian based starter followed by quail that had an incredibly depth to it. On the second occasion we both had the beef starter followed by a sea bass dish. Desserts were also good as was the Provencal cheese board. All washed down with a couple of really classy rose wines and a local red, all in 50cl bottles which are great for two. Great service. Well done to all concerned.
