“Just perfect- highly recommend!”
Reviewed July 9, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We have just returned from a lovely week at Les Tulipiers. Beautiful house in a good location for exploring this part of the Dordoyne. The four double ensuite bedrooms were decorated to a high standard whilst keeping some original features. The pool was very private and a great way to relax after a day exploring the region. The owners Lesley & Peter are lovely people who was more than happy to help with any enquiries we had before our stay and once there on places to visit and restaurant recommendations, even running us to the airport after a problem with our hire car. Went above and beyond. We would highly recommend the place and will definitely be back!

“Wonderful Place, Wonderful Hosts”
Reviewed June 22, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

I booked this place for friends from England and the US. They all loved it and could not praise the house and Lesley the host enough. It is a lovely cosy well appointed house in a quiet part of Riberac but just a short walk to the town center.

“Perfect”
Reviewed July 8, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We both retired early this year at 58 and decided to celebrate with our 3 children and their partners. My eldest son was married in Riberac in 2013 and we loved the area. Choosing accommodation was going to be difficult though to try and match the wonderful experience of the wedding. I can say that Les Tulipiers more than exceeded our expectations. The whole experience from the initial booking to the last day was excellent. Lesley contacted us for our preferences on arrangement of the rooms and that she was providing a welcome pack on arrival. This included everything we would need until we had the time to shop for ourselves. The house was a real home though and spotless, with 4 beautiful en-suite bedrooms. Crisp sheets and fluffy towels.
In the lounge is a tv with Sky if you need, though we hardly used it. Everything you could want was on hand and the attention to detail made it very special indeed. The pool area enclosed in a secret garden with fantastic views of the Town. Lesley and Peter were perfect hosts and available for advice when needed though distant enough not to impose. The title for this review says it all. We had two perfect weeks that gave much more than we could have hoped for.

“Just delightful - we'll definitely be back!”

Our ten night stay was just sensational. The accommodation was perfect - beautifully appointed and spacious with modern ensuite bathrooms for every room. Lesley, Peter and Woody (the hound with big personality) were fabulous hosts, and they even left us a little care package on arrival with pastries, wine, jam and French butter. The gardens and pool are beautiful and nothing beat soaking up the sun in the courtyard on a chilly morning. Could not recommend Les Tulipiers more highly. We will definitely be back!

“Fantastic Place - Highly Recommended”
Reviewed November 17, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Les Tulipiers is a wonderful place to stay, in a wonderful French village, I would highly recommend a visit. The house itself is a magnificent stone building which has been tastefully modernised. It is situated just a short stroll down to Riberac which I would describe as a medium size village, small enough to be cute but with a good selection of restaurants, shops, bars, and a big weekly Market etc. The house remains, however, very tranquil and peaceful and a lovely place to relax by the pool or eat outside on the patio.
The owners are very accomodating and went to extra lengnths to make sure that our 2 year old was catered for (new cot, new high chair etc, etc.) and they even took the trouble to mail a garment back to England for us.

“Amazing house, Amazing Owners, Amazing Holiday!”
Reviewed September 13, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Peter and Leslie go the extra mile and then some to make sure you have a fab holiday in their beautiful house. On arrival we found a fridge and kitchen stocked with many supplies including lovely homemade jam and a bottle of wine. Peter and Leslie were there to greet us and show us around the property. The house was immaculate with hand soap and shower gel supplied in each bathroom. Pool towels and plenty of bathroom towels were provided, saving valuable suitcase space! Board games, books for all ages, some toys and a table tennis table are all there for indoor amusement but the best recreational activity was the spotless pool at the top of the garden. Cleaned daily by Peter and kept at a lovely comfortable temperature we certainly got our monies worth from it! Such a good idea to have a toilet up there too to save a trip back to the house! With the owners house just across the large courtyard they are on hand to answer any questions you have about the area etc. My children absolutely loved making friends with the docile, friendly resident dog Woody who enjoyed playing ball with them almost as much! Would highly recommend this property to those with family and friends they wish to holiday with . It is well situated within easy reach of the lovely beach at Lac Jemaye, activities and river beach at St Aulaye (highly recommend the high ropes course for all ages), beautiful towns of Aubeterre sur Dronne, Brantome and Perigueux. One day we will be back!

“Just Perfect”
Reviewed August 13, 2014 for a stay in July 2014

Wow, wow ,wow were the exact words that we said upon arrival here. A beautiful holiday home, the owners thought of everything. Fantastic welcome pack, excellent facilities and a wonderful pool and gardens. A few minutes walk into the centre of ribérac. We had a fantastic holiday here. Peter and Leslie were wonderfully informative, providing great recommendations for places to go and eat etc. Our party consisted of 4 adults, 1 teen and 4 children and the house never felt cramped. We would definitely like to return here.
