We saw fairly descent reviews of hotel Alaska and its perfect location made us doubt little.
Unfortunately the hotel didn't meet our expectations. From having to pay everything to the uncomfortable restrooms in the rooms and above all, to its poor quality food. Staff didn't put any passion into it either.
Dinner forced at 7:30, or you'd eat cold.
The rooms were ok, and can't say anything about the cleanliness, although every shower meant a lake in the bathroom
Morning breakfast cakes were good enough, coffee was a disaster for italians (foreigners complained too) the eggs you either had to order them scrambled with cheese or you'd get them burned/undercooked.
Dinner presented a variety of dishes throughout the week, none worth mentioning. Desserts were bad with the exception of the Strudel, clearly the only remarkable evidence of the kitchen potential.
The SPA and wellness area seemed good, though only been once to the saunas and the swimming pool. There is a kid's playroom with table tennis and a broken table football, few other toys for the small to be entertained with.
Lastly the bar... Basic selection, managed to see half glasses of a Spritz only in this hotel, a sip and its over.
Been in the area several times... In Hotel Alaska you don't get the same quality, just higher prices.
