We arrived shortly before sundown on our first night, and my five-you old found it a little intense at first. The rooms are totally open, which means anything that flies- including bats- come right on in. The birds and monkeys are crazy loud at sunrise and sunset. There is a family of baby cayman and their mama who keep their nest right on the grounds. The owner, Yaro, is a truly likable and caring person. He sees to it personally that all of his guests are taken care of. He met us personally when our plane landed in San Carlos, which I believe is his usual MO. He sees all of his guests off when they leave on excursions, and greets them when they return. He takes care of all the details and leaves you with nothing to worry about.
