“Lovely Break”
Reviewed June 27, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Our stay in Blaenau Ffestiniog was very impressive. The location was quiet and surrounded by hills.

The cottage was ideal, being well presented and comfortable. Very clean and everything was provided for our stay.

Communications with the owner were excellent and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch.

We would be happy to stay here again and to recommend it to our friends.

“Cute cottage”
Reviewed June 22, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Clean and well equipped slate floored cottage, very close to zip world.
Looks tiny from the outside but extended at the back so is spacious enough for a family of 4 and has an interesting, steep and quirky garden embedded in the hill behind the cottage .
One double bedroom is downstairs and the other twin room upstairs.
No tv reception but wifi and good selection of DVD, my kids enjoyed the Water horse movie.
I really appreciated the cupboards being well stocked with essential items for guests to use and the owner left us a lovely hamper of goodies which was perfect for when we arrived with tired and hungry children.

Thank you for posting such a lovely review and I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and that you were comfortable in the cottage. I've tried to make it the kind of place I'd like to stay in myself, a home from home. Let me know if you want to come again, you would be very welcome!

“Cosy comfortable cottage”
Reviewed June 4, 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Lovely cosy cottage big enough to fit two adults and two rather large teenagers. Everything you need for a relaxing week or two on holiday. Fully equipped kitchen, nothing missing at all. Comfortable, cosy, home from home. Lovely welcome hamper which was very generously packed with goodies. The whole family enjoyed their stay.

Lovely and well maintained house. Best of the things available for us to use. Super welcome basket.
Compared to another house booked down the road this was far better and v close to zipline.

“Fantastic cottage - just what we needed and more!”
Reviewed March 15, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

My partner and I, along with another couple booked here to stay for a long weekend whilst taking part in the activities at ZipWorld celebrating my partners birthday. Its perfectly located for the activites - literally minutes up the road - or a short walk down the road into Ffestiniog itself.

Upon arrival the cottage was immaculatly clean, and so much more homely that the pictures show. The kitchen is properly stocked with pretty much everything you could ever think of (even birthday candles which I forgot!)

The fire in the living room was a welcome addition - there is a handy booklet in the living room giving instructions to all the household things such as heating, lighting etc. There is certainly a 'knack' to the fire getting it lit - but once its done you'll get it straight away!

The main bedroom was lovely, clean warm and comfortable. The second one was a little on the small size but still perfectly fine. Its up a set of narrow stairs so best suited to the able bodied.

As a regular to Antur Stiniog and thinking of future visits - the only thing that I could see that was missing was anywhere to secure bikes - so if you are bringing your own bear this in mind.

All in all a fantastic cottage and would certainly reccomend if planning a weekend zipping round at Zipworld :)

I'm so glad you had a great time and that the cottage exceeded your expectations. The cottage is so handy for Zip World and Antur Stiniog and I have tried to make it a real home from home. Bike storage is tricky, but if I'd known you were bringing them I do have a solution. Thank you for writing such a lovely review and I hope you will want to return one day.

“Lovely cottage in a fascinating town”

This pleasant and comfortable cottage is within a few minutes walk of the town centre. Everything you need is provided and is good quality - not the usual cheap holiday rental stuff. Best welcome pack you're likely to find. Blaenau Ffestiniog cannot be described as a pretty place, but it is fascinating and a great centre from which to visit Snowdonia and the coast.
