“Delightful cottage”
Reviewed August 12, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Having not been to north Wales since I was a small child, I had no real idea where I wanted to stay. The reviews for this cottage and its location made it worth booking and dipping a toe into Snowdonia with my family, I can honestly say I was not disappointed . The cottage is cosy, very well equipped and well positioned for some beautiful walks and attractions of which a couple are within walking distance,
We would definately return in the future.

“Perfection”
Reviewed July 14, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Full refurbished, beautifully decorated, fully furnished with good quality furniture, immaculately clean and totally equipped with everything that you could possibly need during a stay here! Definitely the best cottage I have ever rented. Love the welcome pack, the comfy beds and sitting room.

I was wild swimming, hiking and photographing jets on the Mach Loop, I'm planning on going back to do the local adventure sports, mountain biking, climbing and zip wires in particular. But I'm only going to go when I can stay here.

The cottage is surrounded by amazing scenery with some great pubs and restaurants close by. Had some amazing lamb and seafood dishes and some great Welsh beer.

Top tip....plan your car fuel, there aren't a whole lot of petrol stations out there and those that are don't open late. Didn't actually run out of fuel but came very close!

“Snowdonia is absolutely beautiful for walking, cycling or just driving.”
Reviewed June 21, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This is a perfect cottage with top quality appliances and fittings. It is furnished with thought and taste plus a welcome hamper full of local goodies. The little museum in the village (open on Sunday) is well worth a visit and gives insight into the miners who lived and worked there. The now defunct quarry has tours down into the caves and a Zip Wire attraction. The surounding area is breathtaking and within easy reach of famous gardens, castles and seaside. My only regret is we didn't have time to visit the caves.

“Lovely. Highly recommend!”
Reviewed June 7, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Had a lovely stay here. Great location for the zip world activities and a short drive to Ogwen Valley which has the most stunning views you can imagine. Perfectly equipped for a really comfortable stay, a true home away from home. Great instructions for using/finding everything in the cottage.

Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the welcome hamper was just that extra touch which was lovely!

We are already looking at availability for 2017!

This cottage is like home from home. It's very clean and has everything you need. The owner has thought of everything . You get a welcome hamper with lots of goodies in, this was very much appreciated. The cottage is central to get to lots of different places. Really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book this cottage again if I was to ever visit Wales again.

“Loved every minute”
Reviewed February 28, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

This is the nicest, most fully equipped house I have stayed in for ages. It is small but really well organised. Fully modernised but with old touches to make it a home from home. My teenagers loved it. Wi Fi worked perfectly. We were greeted with a fantastic hamper of treats which topped the lovely cottage. Good communication from the owner and we will be returning.
The area is beautiful and we were really lucky with the weather. From the cottage you can walk in fantastic surroundings or you can go further into the National Park
.if you love walking it is the place to be. The quarry up the road has zip wires above and below ground as well as a bouncing cavern.
We found a fabulous woodland Segway near Criccieth where we were welcomed and entertained and will definitely go back there too.
There are a variety of villages and towns inland and on the coast to explore and discover local legends.
Many thanks to owner Mary Ann.

“Cosy beautiful cottage”
Reviewed January 5, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

Stayed here from 28 Dec 2015 to Jan 1st 2016. We had the most comfortable and relaxing time staying at this cottage. It is very well equipped for all needs. It is warm and clean and the owner has tried to think of everything the person renting would need. There is a lot of considerateness shown to people renting as there is lots of info left to explain how things work, where everything is and it feels that you could call the owner at any time (though I would suggest for most there would be no need). The only way to truly understand what this cottage has to offer and what a pleasure it is to stay here is to book and see for yourself. The complimentary hamper of goodies are really 'goodies' not just a token. We would definitely stay here again. Due to the time of year we did not venture to the rear garden, however based on what the cottage had to offer, we would suggest it is likely that the same attention has been given to the garden with visitors in mind to providing a restful area in the summer

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay and were warm and comfortable. I have tried to make the cottage a home from home (I stay at the cottage quite a lot myself) and it is wonderful to know that guests like you find it well-equipped and welcoming. I'd love to welcome you back at any time, hopefully when the weather is a bit warmer!
