“A gem”
Reviewed August 10, 2014

We found this by accident, it was so good we went back again later in the week! It serves unpretentious, good solid food well cooked and presented - the butternut squash lasagne beats M&S into a cocked hat. And the atmosphere was really special, the welcome and genuine desire to make sure we had a good stay in this lovely area of Wales was wonderful.

“A Lovely Welcome!”
Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

We were only in Blaenau as we missed the train back to Llandudno but if we had caught it we would have missed De Niros. We were given such a lovely, cheery welcome when we walked in - which was lovely. We only wanted a snack as we were having dinner later and settled on a couple of baps with a bowl of chips and a couple of drinks.
Wish I'd had chance to eat a main meal as all of my favourites were on the board from lamb hotpot to liver & onions. There was a good choice of vegetarian dishes too. The place was spotless and really cheery inside .

“Good beer”
Reviewed July 8, 2014

good local beer, unfortunately they'd run out of steak and the food was a bit average, I was surprised not to see more Welsh lamb on the menu but the staff were very friendly and helpful
