Set in the centre of snowdonia, Dolawel Guest House run b Pat and Alister, is the ideal base for both touring the many historical and cultural sites in this part of Wales and walking the hills and mountains nearby.

Pat and Alister are very helpful and easy going but extremely efficient as well. They offered great advice on places to go and things to see in Snowdonia and where to eat locally. Very good size room which has been tastefully refurbished and good en suite facilities. Nice and cosy, exceptionally clean and tidy with an excellent breakfast ( I can honestly say it was as good as my Nan used to make and she took some beating ). Overall, the best place we have ever stayed. The thing i liked the least? Going home .....

A big thank you to Pat and Alister for a wonderful holiday.

Just returned from a relaxing stay at this lovely Guest House, which is definitely a HOME AWAY FROM HOME. Owners Pat and Alister were very friendly and made our stay so special. The rooms were spotless and luxurious. The breakfast was fab, as a vegetarian it was a treat to be served vegi sausages with fried eggs, beans, hash browns and as much toast as you can eat, perfect to set us up for the day.
Overall I would say if you are looking for a friendly, spotless accommodation in the heart of Snowdonia then you will not be disappointed with Dolawel Guest House.
Thanks Pat and Alister.

Second visit for my father and I to this fantastic B&B with great access to the North Wales mountains. Pat and Alister are the perfect hosts, friendly and informative, nothing is too much trouble. The house is very comfortable with recently referbished, modern and comfortable on-suite rooms. I always looked forward to breakfast which never dissapointed. I will definately be returning to do some more walking.

Wonderful home away from home. Hosts, Alister and Pat, very welcoming and helpful! Cosy, comfortable rooms. Location of guest house very central to many interesting places.
We would recommend this guest house to anyone travelling to North Wales.

The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with attention to detail, with tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and toiletries provided. Our rooms had been cleverly converted to allow for both to be en-suite. Breakfast filled us up for the day.
Pat and Alister provided help and a warm welcome.
