My first visit to Furano, I stayed at this new hotel on the Kitanomine side, where I was skiing/boarding. I have previously lived in Japan, and am impressed at the modern comfort and facilities within this hotel. The rooms were clean, quite large, reasonable kitchen capability (utensils, stove top cooking/heating, microwave, water kettle, large sink, etc), good spacious bathroom (separate shower and sink/makeup area), and a separate toilet with the usual functional Japanese toilet (electric controls & heated seat). The bed was comfy, and as usual, slippers and loose cotton pants/top were provided (for walk to the spa or washer/dryer or hanging out in the room or sleeping). From the room, I had a partial view of the valley and Furano city. The public bath (onsen) was used several times and was a wonderful muscle relief after a full day skiing. I only used the hotel restaurant once (evening meal), and it was OK, but I find the local quirky specialty restaurants to be one reason I love Japan, so I ate out most of the time, almost always at different places. I used the nearby 7-11 to stock my rooms refrigerator for my daily light breakfast and evening snacks, and daily food was on the ski slopes. The location was a little awkward, BUT the hotel shuttle bus provided transport to and from the ski lifts most days, but I opted to walk on occasion as well (not too far). I used a bus from New Chitose Airport, that dropped me off 400 meters from Hitohana, which was a slight challenge, as was the walk to pickup/dropoff my ski gear, but all manageable. The clean washing machine and dryer available in the corridor near the onsen, were fantastic, as was the ski storage room near the hotel entry. WiFi provided, and I managed to stream video from my phone to the TV (although this probably only works for techno geeks) ... the TV is mostly in Japanese.
Staff were Japanese efficient (which is a very good thing), with most not being multilingual, but a few staff were able to converse well in English.

To summarize, is a nice comfy well equipped modern hotel, slightly away from the main drag.

Room tip: I liked my ground floor room facing the city of Furano (furthermost from reception)

Have stayed in Furano four years for ski expeditions and this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in. It opened very recently and it’s great. Very clean and good rooms / mattresses/ pillows. Nice little onsen too.
Breakfast was an excellent buffet.
Price seemed very good and though Location is a very short walk to Kitanomine ski lifts, they run a shuttle bus.
Staff were lovely and couldn’t have done more to be helpful.
