“get a safety box!”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

Room - big, spacious, small beds, smallish bath, kitchenette, sofa, tables and chairs. Little bit noisy at night as we were in a block full of young people.

Food/restaurant - basic, hit and miss really. chips pasta, fish, meat dish, salad, baguettes. was ok.
Snack bar - sandwiches, toasties, fruit, ice cream and pastries. closes at six. be careful staff dont snatch your plate when youre still eating,

staff - reception staff, faultless, friendly especially when you speak spanish to them, they love it!
bar staff, mardy, dont smile.

location - ten mintute taxi to westend 10euros, boat ride 5mins three euros. every half hour!

BREAK INS - break ins only occur if you dont have a safety deposit box or leave things in your room. We had a box all week and no sign of anything along with other friends. Whereas others we knew left money and phones lying around most days and were stolen with no sign of any break in,.but each block of apartments have set cleaners? someone we knew had £2000 and 900 euros stolen, nothing was done.

ideal for cheap group holidays nothing more. Families we met out there hated the hotel, they lived off chips all week.

I have just returned from a weeks stay at these apartments. We knew from the price it wasn't going to be a palace but was pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartments and had a nice pool area/s.
The first day we had a massive ants nest and also discovered another nest on the last day in the corridors also.

We avoided the cleaner as within 4 hours we had been broken into, my friend had her phone and camera stolen.
We reported this to reception and they explained this does happen?!?

Obviously someone who works there as there was no sign of break in, must have used a key!!

The reception staff were lovely but felt nothing was done to help the situation and it was just brushed off!

Wouldn't recommend!!

Just got back from a great stay at this hotel. Our residence was a good size, 2 bedrooms, a kitchen diner which we did not use as we were all inclusive and a decent bathroom with shower. The main bedroom and the dining area had air con.The rooms were regularly cleaned and well maintained. The staff were great, very friendly and very helpful. The food was varied and always high quality and well presented. There are 2 swimming pools, one for adults and one for children. Most of the people staying here were families with a small minority using it for a base for the nightlife. There was no noise late at night and we always got a good nights sleep. My only gripe is that the roof in the bar area leaks like a sieve when it rains, this really does need sorting as the floor area becomes very slippy. Other than that we had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday and would not hesitate in recommending it, would definately return again.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor above the main swimming pool and there was no noise

Stayed at these apartments from 14/08/13, and on the second night the room was broken into, and a phone was stolen, when reporting this to reception was told that this was not the first time this summer, and in fact it happened almost on a weekly basis! There was several break in's that day that reception knew of.

Reception believed it was a local with keys, who only takes phones, ipads etc

Was advised to report this to the police, but nothing was done to secure the rooms, this needs to be addressed.

Room Tip: Do Not Accept a room in the 3000 Block, as this is a known target for thieves.

I read the previous reviews and immediately expected the worse. WRONG

Staff. Very friendly, always smiling and up for a chat. If you needed directions or marital advice, they were there for you. We got a CD as a gift when we were leaving but I reckon that was because the receptionist fancied my mate.

Value. We got all inclusive for a good price so I wasn't really expecting much from the buffet. WRONG AGAIN. From Mexican to Chinese the food was amazing, breakfast I reckon would be just as good but I couldn’t get up early enough for it. Good selection of salad if you are a veggie too. Oh and there’s Jelly.

Sleep Quality. No noise and no ants so I slept fine. Comfy bed with 1 pillow, a sheet and an optional thicker blanket.

Cleanliness. Clean provided you let the maids in and open the balcony door once in a while. There was a bit of rust on the tap which I really didn’t care about to be honest.

Location. If you are a family looking for some drinks and karaoke, IDEAL! If you want to be in the heart of the club scene, not so ideal. Taxi to the West End is cheap though so you aren't too far away. I think there is a beach nearby but it is an island after all.

Rooms. Very big with a table and beds etc.

I never normally post reviews but this hotel deserves some good feedback. If you want a great value-for-money place to stay that isn’t too far away from the night life, this is your hotel.

Stayed 24th - 1st.

Obviously a family focused hotel but as two guys who hit the clubs most nights we had no hassle from staff or other guests over noise or drinking etc. Just treat people with respect and you'll get it back.

10 euro taxi into the West End wasn't too bad.

Rooms pretty big and clean. Kept our valuables in safe but in all honesty never once felt like our room wasn't secure and this was in a ground floor apartment. Always plenty people kicking about and just made sure to lock room and balcony when we weren't in.

Staff really friendly and helpful. Especially reception staff but bar staff good and even the maintenance guy always had a smile and a hola.

Food was absolutely excellent and really can't understand the people complaining about it. If you're wanting better than this i'd suggest drastically upping your budget. I've stayed in four star hotels with poorer options. Wide selection and pretty nice for the most part.

If you're looking to just sit about the hotel all day and be entertained you probably wont like this place but if you're looking for a nice, friendly, clean place to sleep&eat whilst you make your own fun i'd recommend it to anyone.
