Travelled with my son age 10 and husband. Couldn't fault it to be honest. Waterpark great and pool area fab. Cleanliness was obviously a priority and the dining room was spotless. Did hear people moaning about being ill due to undercooked meat but we ate it and were fine, maybe too much alcohol but that's never blamed !!!! I would recommend this complex and the entertainment team were second to none, what a lovely group of young people, happy friendly and really got the kids going. I've worked in child care for years and would hire them like a shot. Thought the team leader Mark was very professional and obviously this was why his team were so good too.
Would def visit again.

We stayed here A/I from 29th Sept to 6th Oct when the hotel closed to start the transformation for next season. We stayed in Hibiscus House room 1119 and this was great and had been refurbished with lovely white and blue decoration and bed linen. It was a family suite with separate lounge, kitchenette and great bathroom with really large shower. The walls are paper thin and we had a family with toddlers next door.....bath time was very entertaining indeed! There were very few guests due to it being the last week and each day as flights departed there were fewer and fewer people around which gave a slightly surreal feel to the place. Food was what you would expect in a Spanish 4 star but did get a little weird during the last few days for example boiled white rice and boiled baby carrots at breakfast time! (There were eggs, cereal, toast etc as well). Maybe they were just using stuff up before they closed but was a bit strange. Hotel is set on a headland with stunning views towards San Antonio etc and you can walk round the path all round the headland to get some great photo's. We liked the fact you could get water taxi's to several beaches nearby as well as San Antonio - they were around 7€ return so a good price. Our favourite day was spent at Cala Bassa Beach Club for the best ever beach with crystal clear water and a fab beach club restaurant if you fancy a treat. Expensive but well worth a treat on holiday. We didn't bother with the entertainment at all by the pool but it did look a little excruciating as only a dozen or so people watching most nights or taking part during the day. There was however, inside entertainment a few nights during the week which was OK but you have to feel sorry for them when they are singing/playing for only a few guests. The pool was lovely and the water park on site an added bonus. Imagine if you went with children you would never need to leave the hotel at all as everything you need is available. We would certainly go back and take 4 year old grandson but not so late in the season. If we had been made aware it was the last week when we booked we wouldn't have as felt we didn't really get the holiday we had booked and paid for. Thomas Cook should have made us aware at the time of booking!

This is an excellent family oriented hotel. We spent a week here and could not fault it,the rooms are spacious and have a small kitchen for selfcatering,a seating area and twin beds. Around the pool there are plenty sun beds and a life guard and in the water park there are lots of lifeguards and a nurse. The resteraunt is spacious and the selection of food was amazing , with as much sweets as you can eat they have a chocolate fountain once a week yummiest. The beach is 2 mins away and there are sun beds(at a charge) and a small cafe

Room Tip: The ones on pool side of building might be noisy due to music

I agree with comments stating that this is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel.
12 of us of mixed ages stayed during September
Pros
Excellent Staff especially in the reception area
Our disabled friend said that it was one of the most wheelchair friendly hotels he had ever stayed in (lots of ramps & good accessible room and shower)
Nice Pool
Good Beer
I recommend the local beach bar during the evening - the drinks are not free but it was wonderful watching the sun go down with chill out music
Good air con in our room
The hotel as done a lot to address concerns that people reserve sun beds without actually occupying them

Cons
I don't recommend a room overlooking the pool a sea view is well worth the extra money
The loudspeaker system at the pool was VERY loud - quizzes and music - small chance of a doze in the sun
A few uncontrolled kids even in Sept - I dread to think what its like in August
I can't say this kindly so here goes - a number of fowl mouthed, pot bellied types with copious tattoos piercings Mohican hair etc.... (old and young alike) - also other types but they didn't tend to stand out like this minority
We had a fair room but it was very very tired desperately needing a refit - the cleaners seem to do their best but you have got to a stage where only a full refit will allow a decent clean
Virtually impossible to tune the TV (although I hadn't wanted to actually watch it)

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room

We have stayed at Seaview 9 times over the last 16 years and visited again in September this year to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday as a family of 5 adults. When we first visited Seaview our kids were 1 and 5 years olds, over the years they've made the most of all the facilities available to all age groups including the children's clubs, entertainment and nightclub, this year they are 18 and 22 years olds and still love it.

The hotel was quieter than in previous visits so it was much easier to get a sunbed at a reasonable time of day, still sunbeds freely available on the poolside at 9am and sunbeds still available further back at noon. Please ignore reports of sickness bugs as we were in and out of the pool every day and ate in the dining room and snack bar all week and none of us were ill in any way. The pool was only closed once for about an hour while it was sanitised when a small child's nappy had leaked, so we just went into the onsite waterpark during that time. The waterpark is an excellent facility for all ages and you can use it freely all day every day.

The rooms, food, reception staff, restaurant & bar staff and facilities we still as good as ever, yes the food in the main dining hall can be a bit 'samey' but there is always a wide selection and its always hot and plentiful, snackbar menu is quite limited though. our only criticism was the entertainment was a little poor this year, usually the entertainment team consists of approx. 6 people but this year there were just 3, all girls, so although they tried hard they struggled (apparently there had been more entertainers but some contracts had ended, some had left to go home etc. and as they were winding down to the end of the season so they weren't being replaced). It was quite obvious that they also hadn't been given much of a budget to do anything such as costumes with, this may be because Thomas Cook are leaving this hotel at the end of the season and handing it over to first choice for next year so they've fallen a little bit out of love with it.

The plans for next year look impressive, they're planning a high ropes course, swim up rooms, infinite pool, BBQ plus much more. However First choice has increased the prices for next year considerably (for the week we were there it is going up by £200 per person next year so we have booked to go somewhere else as cant justify that price).

I have to say that the All Inclusive drinks offering was excellent, the bar staff are always really pleasant and helpful, they give good measures and always have a smile for you if you do the same for them. We have seen the same bar & reception staff year after year so I believe that says something about the hotel as if it was an unpleasant place to work the staff wouldn't go back every year.

We did one of the excursions this year which was the sunset cruise on the Monday evening and would highly recommend it, the sunset and sights (including the nudist beach) were great and we even had dolphins swimming round the boat, we thought it was excellent value for money.

don't get taken in by the first bar at the beach telling you they are doing a fire show between 9 and 9.30 in the evening as in reality it not until nearly 11 but they get you in there early to make you spend more, we didn't actually stay for the fire show as we couldn't stand the inane hippy style din anymore!!

All in all we had yet another fantastic holiday at seaview and will definitely return at some point to see the changes but will wait a couple of years for First Choice to reduce the prices to a more realistic cost.

Room Tip: we always request a room in Petunia block over looking the pool, which means you also have a seaview...
