I stayed in the Granada Room on the top floor looking out over the lovely garden and river in delightful and playful luxury... reminded me of Dar Baraka that I rented in Rabat some years back. But the warm welcome and delicious meal that greeted me upon my arrival was an added
delight, washed down with plenty of the winning local wine... Pons itself is a beautiful and charming place, a great place for a week of relaxation but also well located for vigorous tourism throughout a most interesting part of France. The regional food and wine are superb, the roads through the lovely rural areas are easy to follow and not crowded. My stay there simply could not have been more pleasant. My dinner and breakfasts were everything I could ask for, there was convenient safe parking next door. It was the perfect choice for me. I was in the area to photograph some historic buildings, but staying in this B and B made a business trip a real, unexpected pleasure.
