If you 'simply' love the water, want to achieve a goal, have stamina and energy and crave a holiday that will challenge body and soul, Buddha's Surf Resort is the perfect place for you...beginner or experienced surfer your needs will be met and you will achieve great things...

If you want to just lie on the beach or by a pool all day, well pipz this is not for you!

It pains me to write this because I don't want the place to get booked up, but how can I not recommend Buddhas Surf Resort...it is quite 'simply' Awesome!

The place is very lovely,Amazing and delicious foods, clean and wonderful accomodations;great activities.

AS for the Staff, they are an amazing bunch!
Buddha's Surf Resort built a team that is costumer focused, attentive, friendly and highly qualified in their own area of expertise be it the surf instructors, the chef, the resort management, the massage, the photography or the cleaning - all an essential part of the team and all with one goal, to give you the best holiday of your life.

So don't all rush at once or else there won't be space for me to return...but I 'simply' can not recommend Buddhas Surf resort enough - I can confidently promise you won't be disappointed! Enjoy!

Me and 3 friends recently travelled to Siargao with the aim of spending a week sunning it up and surfing whilst touring South East Asia. We stayed for just over 3 weeks, the locals, the culture, the surf and the parties had us hooked this was all complimented by Buddah's Surf Resort. The resort itself is its own slice of paradise with beautiful rooms, great service and great food.

The owner (Ash) was extremely accommodating and helped us organize surf instructors, trips to "secret waves", trip to go swimming with jellyfish (not to be missed). Its great having Ash around to help organize transport etc. for the first few days before you get the hang of it yourself.

Finally make sure you: swim with jellyfish, challenge the locals at basketball, drink a lot of Tanduay and finally avoid trying "Balot"

Thanks for the review. I thoroughly enjoyed having a group of Brits stay, and you really kept the Buddha staff entertained with your shenanigans! Hopefully see you back on the island after your ski season. Cheers

One of my best summer vacations was on May 2012, in Siargao Island with my friends. We stayed in Buddha’s Surf Resort for 1 week, simple and very nice place. I and my friends really loved the place, we feel so welcomed and the people there are so friendly. Our memorable experience there is when we try to surf in the surfing site, a few meters away from the resort with our new friends, so exciting. We are really happy and we enjoyed our staying there.

A real adventure wandering Siargao island and being accommodated by Buddha's Surf Resort. A summer vacation with friends seems a very memorable escape from the busy city life. Waking up in an ambiance of nature and a very solemn place with friendly staffs. A few meters away from the surfing site to go surfing or to go swimming and island hopping as well.

Buddha's Surf Resort is a simple but adequate resort filled with greenery and friendly neighbors. Surfer or not, this resort is perfect for those who are looking for a home away from home. When I first came to Buddha's Surf Resort, I was welcomed by not only the helpful staff members but also by a room that already felt like my room at my own home. The modern design and cleanliness of the room definitely adds that familiar feeling. I always looked forward to taking a hot shower after surfing and just laying on that comfortable bed was the cherry on top. Sometimes just staying in the air-conditioned room was a good day, do not forget it gets really hot outside! Surfers at this resort are accessible to renting boards and for those who don't have experience are even able to learn how to surf from an instructor, all for a reasonable price! This resort has it's own Thai restaurant, filled with healthy and delicious food. Breakfasts were always a pleasure, there was always a variety of appetizing choices that had the perfect sized servings to it. I've stayed at Buddha's Surf Resort more than several times and will definitely go back there again! It's always a pleasure coming back "home".

Elah our resident Israeli surfer chick! Always fun having you in the resort - even though sometimes you are a naughty influence on getting my staff to party haha. Over your many visits you've really become part of the Buddha family. See you again soon :)

Thanks June! It was great having you in the resort, such a fun person to be with and full of energy. And it was cool to learn more about Korea and your culture. See you back here early next year for some more surf!

Granted, I'm not much of a surfer - a complete beginner in fact, but by coming to this resort I put myself in the best possible position to learn.
Located about 50 metres from the beach and right next to a reef break (Hawaiian Jack) this resort has instant access to ideal waves to begin learning. Right next to Hawaiian Jack though is a much larger break providing the perfect playground for the more advanced surfer.
With its own restaurant providing great Asian food, a good post surf feed is on your doorstep. Buddha's also has surfboard and motor bike rental making the island your oyster, allowing you to skip over to the infamous Cloud 9 (a cheap lift is also possible) and surf the islands gem or head up to the nearby (30km drive) rock pools for some (safe) tomb stoning.
Buddha's only has a few neighbours, the majority of whom are local so you're guaranteed a true Philippine island cultural experience, a Lechon night being one of my most memorable.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, one of which is a surfing instructor and has lived on Siargao his entire life, so well worth spending a day together so that you can get your bearings and learn all the names of the different breaks etc.
You simply can't go wrong by choosing to stay at Buddha's; relaxing, great access to the surf, great vibe!
5 Stars!

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet and have aircon. Penthouse room is great for a romantic stay.
