We decided to give SUP Yoga a go on the last mirning of our holiday. Magda, our instructor promptly replied via E-Mail, so the booking was done just 24 hours before. We then spend a lovely halfday which started with a short meditation followed by a healthy breakfast including fresh fruit. After that, we did some balance exercices on dry land, before we drove to the beautiful lagoon. The SUP on water turned out tobe less difficult than the previous excercices. I only fell wen trying to do headstand...but hey, yoga's not meant to be a competition. So don't worry about falling, especially when its into kneehigh, warm water ;-)
All in all a great little treat which definetly sweetened our last couple of hours in sri lanka.

I've done Ashtanga yoga but had never been on paddle board before. What a truly amazing experience! The day starts with some meditation and some balance practice, it turned out to be even easier on the water. The romantic location was the perfect place to learn with Magda: I ended up going several times
Even when I fell in, it was to waist deep water at bath temperature
The local people were welcoming polite and helpful and it was a beautiful respite from the gorgeous craziness of the beach resorts
Thoroughly recommended
