Master Campers provides a really good product: wonderfull camp, nice tents, great food, friendly and knowledgable staff etc. The safaries we had were great. We will be talking about this experience for many years.
The only hick-up was the van driver who picked us up and later took us to our next destination. Both times he was late, didn't really know the way, once we drove in the wrong direction for 30 min, once we had to stop for 30 min because he drove into a bus, and he didn't have the experience or good sense to understand that for a 4 hour drive you should plan a bathroom break. He's a nice guy, but needs some training/help.
We stayed in the camp for 3 nights and had five safaries and a visit to the Elephant Transit Home. We were there as a family with two young children (2 and 5 years old). They had a great time, but I feel I must give a warning to other families. Be aware that daytime in the the camp can get long (from 9 AM to 3 PM) and very hot. For adults this is great. You can read, sleep or relax. For children however this can be very long and very hard. There is little to do and the heat can bring out the worst in any child. Our children had trouble napping/sleeping in the heat, even at night. The afternoon safaries are also very hot, and go on for three hours. Really young children can get fed up - even with elephants.
I really don't want to descourage anyone, but depending on your child consider carefully how long you want to stay.
