Stayed at the Grand Diamond Hotel overnight before going to Siem Reap, rooms were spacious but not so good. food & service wasn't GRAND! we had to cross the road to the adjacent building just to have breakfast & dinner and the restaurant is located at the basement (foodcourt style) and somehow, the staff at the restaurant did not have any idea about the food stubs that were given to us by the front desk so they had to verify again and again with the hotel manager (i think). Will not stay in this hotel again.

You need to erase those luxury casino-hotel in Vegas strip, Macau or Singapore. The room is just comfort enough for sleep, just that. However, thing I like the most for this hotel are restaurants. There is Chinese Restaurant, Asian restaurant, food court and noodle stall. All of them are clean and delicoius.

For those who buy non-exchangeable chips every 2000 Bahts (estimate 70 USD) direct with hotel, you will get free 100 Bahts food card to redeem at any restaurant inside hotel. And if you wish to get free room, you just contact 3rd party counters inside the casino (ladies who wear color jacket), buying 30,000 Bahts non-exchangeable chips (estimate 1000 USD), they will offer you superior room.
