“Nice home cooking”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 13, 2013

We love this restaurant for lunches with family. Home cooked food that is always tasty. The attached shops are also great to visit including Sticky Fingers the English sweet shop! Kids and oldies alike love this one.

“really top spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

There are a number of places to have lunch in Mundaring, but this is easily the best. It is consistently delicious and well-run.

The coffee is way better than any other cafes and the food is all hand-made, to-order by a cook who obviously cares about his customers.
The menu invites you to have favourites that you keep returning to, it's that sort of place. And the staff remember you, too.
I prefer eating outside, watching the trucks thunder past and hearing the kookaburras party in the tall trees.
The avocado bagel is superbly made.

“Outstanding breakfast”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2012

This cafe is by far one of the best cafes I have ever been to. The food is delish must try the breakfast burger! Or if you are there for lunch the lamb burger! The best coffee in town. And the staff are so friendly. The owners Margaret and Andrew and just lovely and a good laugh. There is also a great gift shop full where you could find a present for anyone. Don't drive by this treat.

“Best Coffee In Mundaring”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 15, 2012

By far the best coffee in Mundaring, Best food, Fresh ingredients, and great friendly service too. Comparable prices with value for money. Relaxing ambiance, with seating outside on the verandah, even a table in the garden amongst the cottage garden and inside in the air conditioned dining room. Parking in the parking lot outside the restaurant, just off the Great Eastern Highway. My hubby and I go to the Patch Of Country regularly for Sunday Breakfast and also the occasional meal, especially when we have guests we like to take them for Lunch at the Patch Of Country. We have been customers now for more than 20 years. Highly recommended
