A fantastic, secret beach with crystal clear water! A wonderful place to be! You have to walk through a natural long path to reach it.

“Exploring beautiful Karlovasi area!””
Reviewed October 25, 2011

On your hike back to Karlovasi from a refreshing swim in the sparkling waters of the peaceful Seitani beaches, the area of Potami beach is also worth exploring. Surrounded by plush forest you will find the Byzantine chapel of Metamorphosis. The entrance remains unlocked so visitors may view the interior. Behind the temple of Metamorphosis is a trail heading uphill to the ruins of the Venetian castle.
The footpath to the chapel is off the main road just by the sign. This trail also leads to the waterfalls. Wear a swimsuit. To see the waterfalls, you must first swim through the gorge.

“Samos Island - Mikro Setani Cove walk from Potami to Drakei”
Reviewed October 8, 2009

Such a shame that this beautiful walk was marred by side tracks being absolutely littered with rubbish including condoms everywhere and their condom packets - some packets were even unopened - these side tracks are obviously where the prostitutes take their punters - come on Greece - let's tidy this up for us keen walkers.
