I have stopped at the garden hotel in the past,I. Cannot fault. this hotel its a wonderful hotel and the last review is not true it is clean every day and you are treat like one of the family it makes me sick when people put this hotel down. When you arrive there the first you receive a drink for all the family and you do get picked up from the airport free of charge there and back when you book direct. The food is good and the people there would bend over back words to help you with anything when I was there last time they helped me through a family bereavement ,these people are angels they make your holiday great and help you to forget and enjoy yourself the rooms are standard but you only sleep but are clean. This hotel has big. Swimming pool and a small pool the drinks are at a good price so please don't listen to the last review.

Pluses; Pools, children’s playground, nice garden, good fridge in the room and big TV in the bar. Close to airport, free WIFI.

Minuses: super uncomfortable beds, payable AC, no fan in the room, rooms are rundown, cramped and blocked shower with no toiletries and no shower curtain, TV with hardly any channels, bad management attitude, average breakfast, same goes for the dinner. Sometimes big buses arrive during the night delivering new guests and stand next to your windows with engine on (awful noise and smell). Huge cockroaches twice ran over my feet in the restaurant (I killed them both), we’ve been in few other Rhodes hotels during the same trip and I have never seen anything like this anywhere else.

The only positive things about this hotel are its swimming pools, childrens playground and friendliness of some female staff. Otherwise it is an utter disappointment. Our room was rather run-down with a blocked shower and an old, ruined mattress which guaranteed you a bad back every morning. We booked our stay via an agent and only then discovered that the “free shuttle” advertised prominently on the hotel website is only “free” if you book direct with the hotel. When we enquired why they distinguish between guests paying direct or via an agent our emails were simply ignored. However, they responded quickly enough when we agreed to pay the Euro15 EACH WAY for airport transfer. BEWARE OF THIS IF YOU TOO ARE BOOKING VIA AN AGENT. They also take away your passports (even infant ones) upon arrival and keep them until departure. But again, be very careful to remember this because (as we discovered to our cost) they forgot to give the passports back when we handed our keys back. We only found out their mistake when we arrived at our next hotel in Kolimbia. We immediately emailed the hotel and asked for their assistance in delivering our documents safely to us but – you guessed it – our email was simply ignored. Now we are left to sort out the problem for ourselves before depart back to the UK. Glad we stayed there for 3 days only.
You may think we were just unlucky, but then before you book with Garden Hotel our advice to you, dear traveller is – do you feel lucky? Well, do you?

Room Tip: If you choose room facing the road you'll hear buses' noise at night if you choose room faci...

We have just returned from the Garden Hotel, Pastida. It was truly lovely, the gardens relaxing and the staff were friendly and could not do enough for you. We had a studio room and it was plenty for us and very clean with the maids coming in every day. Lovely breakfast and food in general was very good. There was a lovely atmosphere at night in the bar, regular entertainment and lots of delicious cocktails to try! The town of Pastida is small but quaint.....also we found a great kebab restaurant! You have to pay for the hotel bus, but a trip into Lindos and Rhodes town is a must and well worth it.
Perfect holiday and would definately stay there again :)

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Garden Hotel, Pastida. Went to recharge my batteries, what a lovely welcoming place this is. Jenny and Evgenios are fantastic hosts and all the staff go out of their way to make you feel special. The gardens are beautiful with grapes, peaches, pomegranates and figs, there's a small allotment style vegetable garden running alongside with chickens and goats, everything is freshly picked and used in the restaurant. I have never seen a pool as big, there's also a children's pool. The hotel caters for all ages. The village is only a five minute walk if you decide to eat out and the restaurants are very good both price wise and quality, unlike many parts of the Greek islands Pastida is flat, what a joy! We met some lovely people and spent seven days laughing and relaxing. We went on a trip to Rhodes organised by the hotel for 15 Euros each, if we'd gone with Thomson it would have cost 61 Euros each, there are other trips organised by the hotel at very reasonable prices and themed night entertainment, quiz and bingo nights and of course Karaoke. I highly recommend this hotel.

I think this hotel is a brilliant place to stay. I recommend it and there is lots to do in and out of the hotel. Typical Greek rooms with beds, fridges fans etc and bathrooms come with an open shower toilet and sink soap isn't required but advise taking some as soap there is a small bar. Breakfast is delightful every morning with either English breakfast cereals etc.lots of activities to choose from at the hotel such as water parks and sight seeing, they oftenly add in the night activities such as bingo, quizzes and karaoke

All in all I defiantly recommend this as a family holiday or a place to relax

We stayed at the garden hotel in mid June 2013. it is a great little hotel in Rhodes. The pool is lovely and a gardens are great to relax in. The rooms are nice but very basic, typical greek accommodation, not that you will need to spend much time in your room. The breakfast was nice every morning, there a a few very nice places to eat in central Pastida. The public bus to Rhodes stops right across the road from the hotel, takes about one hour to get to Rhodes town (defiantly a place to visit), for only 2.20 each way, tickets available from the hotel shop.

In all a very nice but basic place to stay and relax in the sun.

A nice place to spend a couple of weeks.

The garden hotel is quiet, sleeply place. A great hotel run by nice family. Pastida is a sleeply village about 10 miles from the main touist places in Rhodes.

It is a very hot part of thr world, very nice for laying around doing not much at all. If you like to relax and do not want a long haul flight then this is the place for you.

Go for it, if you book direct you can save money, Google them, they can pick you up from the airport and drop you back to airport for your return flight.

The hotel is very basic, rooms need painting, TV in room is not good but the hotel has lovely gardens & a nice big swimming pool plus a smaller pool for children. The hotel offers trips for whoever would like to see a bit more of Rhodes which are good value for money.

That would be my biggest plus for the Garden Hotel, It is good value for money. But it is not very modern or very comfortable, the beds are not too bad. There is a very small kitchen area in the room but it is very basic indeed. The hotel does provide food for anybody who wants a cooked meal. Hotel is only 10 minute walk to the centre of the village of Pastida which has a few nice places for a meal.

I hope you find this review helpfull.

Room Tip: I would ask for one in the new hotel block, left to the main pool.
