“Just what the doctor ordered.”
Reviewed September 15, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This was a long awaited holiday after quite a stressful year. But what a fabulous time had by all. The Villa had the most spectacular views over the bay and although we had great plans to do lots of exploring we spent most of our time relaxing by the pool. We made sure we had a well stocked fridge- the Villa has everything you need- and were more than happy to chill out and do nothing. This was a very relaxing holiday mainly due to the location and the Villa itself.
We did make it down to the local beaches for a swim everyday but did't stray far!!
Would certainly recommend and would love to go back.

A great review and one we would have given ourselves. We are pleased our clients feel the same as we do about our villa.

“Fantastic family holiday in a brilliant villa”
Reviewed July 30, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

Having stayed at a few villas in Rayol-Canadel, this is by far the best! Beautifully laid out with everything needed for a perfect holiday - we used the large infinity pool every day, played boule most days and due to the kitchen and terrace (and being vegetarian in a not very vegetarian part of the world..!) ate lunch and dinner each day at the villa. Two teenagers were very happy with great wifi and Sky TV. Because of the setting and the facilities, we spent most days around the villa, not needing to venture far. We did walk down to the village boulangerie which took about 15 minutes down and 20 minutes back. The only negative thing I could think of was the couple in the next villa skinny dipping each day..

“Wonderfully peaceful and beautiful villa”

A group of 8 friends plus 1 baby stayed in this wonderful villa for a week this July (2016). It's hard to fault this villa. The view and the grounds are the main attraction - eating a meal overlooking the ocean, looking out to the nearby Hyeres islands, is just bliss. You are located up a hill, feeling elevated above the world and above the normal stresses of everyday life. Despite this, the local amenities are easily reached on foot or by car.
The rooms are all comfortable and spacious. Everything works, and there are two huge fridges, which is great for a bigger group (one of which we stocked all week with drinks!)
The surrounding area is perfect - picturesque beaches, rolling roads for cyclists like me, and st tropez nearby for a day trip. Very, very highly recommended.

“The South of France at its best - a beautiful, spacious villa in the hills”
Reviewed October 5, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We had a great stay at this wonderful villa during the summer holidays. The bedrooms are all well-sized, and there is a great open living/dining room area where we could all socialise - this opens up onto a patio with stunning views of the sea. I loved lying in the hammock! There is plenty of sun-bathing space, with deck chairs on the patio and also on the terrace down next to the infinity pool. Kitchen was very well equipped, we found everything we needed.

The villa is tucked away up in the hills, so it feels very private, but its only a 10 minute walk down the hill to the small town of Rayol-Canadel-Sur-Mer (I recommend the bakery for fresh pastries at breakfast time!). There is also a great seafood restaurant at the bottom of the hill (Maurin des Maures). The local beach is not far, with watersports available, and a number of beachside bars/restaurants for cocktails at sunset. We can't wait to go back!

“A stunning and beautifully presented villa with outstanding views”
Reviewed October 5, 2015 for a stay in June 2014

I was very apprehensive at first about booking a family holiday online but from the word go Joyce put my mind at rest and everything went smoothly and according to plan. As a result this was the second time after a 3 year gap we have stayed at La Respelido and again wasn't disappointed. A beautiful and well equipped villa with superb views across the bay, tastefully decorated and plenty of room for our extended family of five couples. Ideally located for some of the best beaches in the South of France and perfect for cycling or walking. I would recommend this villa to anyone and hope to return again soon.

Liked best: Infinity pool, location. view and overall presentation of villa.

“Stunning Holiday at La Respelido”
Reviewed September 23, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday and luckily chose to stay at La Respelido. We travelled as a family of eight and had plenty of space to move around the villa particularly enjoying the wrap around terrace and of course the infinity pool. The villa is extremely well equipped, a real home from home and you really do want for nothing. The views are second to none and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anybody and can't wait to return..

“What a fantastic villa”
Reviewed September 23, 2015 for a stay in May 2015

Our stay at La Respelido was just magical! The villa is simply superb and as for the view-Wow!! We stayed here for a week in May and although we had intended eating out during our holiday we ended up visiting the wonderful local shops - everything you could possibly need is in the local village- and buying food to enable us to prepare meals in the villa and thus make the most of the wonderful facilities, location and view. The villa is totally secluded and private and although you really need a car to get to and from the village we spent many an hour in the early evening walking in the hills behind the villa. Some of the views are absolutely spectacular. We can't wait to visit La Respelido again.
