An amazing experience! Imagine turning onto a very narrow road and driving 10 miles to a small village with less than 300 people for a 3 Michelin star restaurant and having one of the best meals you have ever eaten. Hats off to chef Giles Goujon for pulling this off! Few people on the planet would be able to make this happen. 20 years in business and hopefully he will pass on some of his knowledge and secrets, if and when he retires. Expensive but worth every penny and we will be back.

We were taken here as a surprise and it was the best dining experience we have had. Situated in the most remote and unlikely village, it is worth seeking out. We had the 135 euros menu and were there for 4 hours! Besides the set courses there were many amuse bouches and extra dishes. We agree with all the other reviews – the food in memorable, the staff attentive without being over bearing and stuffy. Well deserves the 3 Michelin stars and actually good value!

Among the greatest meals we ever had : the food is creative, innovative but it's real food, not foams and experimentally processed ingredients. The quality is outsdanding, from the bread made by a local grower/miller/baker to the local egg and contest winning beef (aged at the restaurant). But what really male the difference is the people : everyone - including the Gilles Goujon and his wife, is happy, friendly, available, knowledgeable, efficient : no other restaurant has such a great team.

now a three-Michelin star establishment, chef Goujon produces perfect food, served expertly - you must have the egg with truffle, it is wonderful - and the rooms are interesting - ask for a chef room in the separate building, but don't try to find the restaurant with satnav; very expensive, worth every penny

We live not far away and come here as a treat every few months. The set midday meal is 65 euros and you get around six courses all immaculately designed, cooked and presented. The atmosphere is not at all snooty with very friendly, knowledgeable and mostly english speaking staff. The wines are very expensive with a simple chardonnay vdp around 40 euros. Every time we visit we come away thinking that it has been a truly rewarding and value experience. Just treat yourself !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
