My wife and I spent her birthday at this property the middle of October, to bad a rain storm also spent that week at this property. No fault of the resort but we only had 2 days of sunshine out of 7 so we got very familiar with the inside of the resort. The place is beautiful and our room was very nice with a great view of the ocean, we were on the 4th floor with an ocean view that looked out from the main building over the pools to the ocean with a great view of the mountains to the south of the resort. The steak house had great food and the service was perfect, the italian resturant was okay but the pizza shack was delicious. The Maui Maui pizza that we ordered and ate in the room watching the storm come by was cooked perfectly. The casino was average but we did manage to win and even got money comped off the bill so no complaints there.

Room Tip: get a high floor ocean view! room 432 was great.

We stayed in 1 of the hotel rooms. It was a fine room. Closet was roomy, bathroom was big enough. Balcony had an awesome view of the pool and the Ocean. As your on the Atlantic side, you won't have a sunset view. But the sunrise is very pretty. The food was average, we usually had dinner off the resort. The cafe has a huge coffee menu, but nothing fancier than just coffee was available all week. No espresso, no latte. But they had no sign saying so. The Casino was fun. All In all this was a very nice place.i found the staff to be great. Bed wasn't the greatest. Found the place overall very nice.

My husband and I vacationed in St. Kitt's at the end of May 2012. We had a wonderful trip. We used Trip Advisor before our trip and I promised i would write a review when we returned! well better late than never. We really enjoyed the St.Kitt's Marriott. The hotel property was in good condition and our suite was very spacious. We had marriott points to use, and were glad we used them at this property! We enjoyed the beach and pool. Be prepared for slow service, we knew it would be slow, just relax, you are on vaction! The onsite restaurants were classic American Marriott menus. We ate breakfast several days at the hotel restaurant and lunch by the pool, both were very good! The Pizza shack by the pool had great pizza and sandwiches. We only at onsite for dinner one evening. There are so many wonderful restaurants on the island we ate out 5/6 nights in St. Kitts.

The restaurants are fairly close to the hotel, just a short cab ride to most. We found the cab drivers to be very nice and helpful. We loved, Carembola, Marshalls, & Shipwreck for thier great seafood and beautiful views! Near the hotel with in a walking distance there is a cute coffee shop, Rumors, that had great breakfast sandwiches that we walked down and got several days! Also within walking distance we went to Rock Lobster, very cute and great seafood, you can also walk to "the strip" at Frigate Bay for a local feel and cheap beer try Cathy's!

As for the beach, we read a lot of reviews about the seaweed at the Marriott beach, we were prepared to see a ton, but for the most part it was cleared each day and we were able to get in the water, seaweed free! Sometimes you just had to pick a chair in the area with less seaweed! Not a big issue to me! We also went down to the far end of the Island, Cockelshell beach and spent the day at the Regae Beach and Beach bar! Beautiful view of Mt. Nevis and calm water! From here we went to shipwreck beach just up the beach where we snorkeled and had drinks and snacks at Shipwreck Beach Bar. From there we did a quick change in the restroom/changing room and walked down the beach for a beautiful sunset dinner at Carembola! This was one our best days! Our cab driver stayed with us the entire day to take us from place to place. I think the entire day he only charged us about $50! For us it was worth it and cheaper and easier than renting a car. The roads are paved, but not in the best shape around the island. By the way, Carembola is a newer restaurant on the island it has an amazing patio with fire pits, beautiful lounge furniture, and a beauitful inside too! We were really happy we found this place!

Tours, the only offical tour we did was the full day Volcano Hike, it was about 2 hours up and 2 hours down the volcano, but it was beautiful and exhausting but we were glad we did it!

From St. Kitts, we took the ferry to Nevis and spent 3 nights at the Four Seasons! It is a beautiful property and very luxurous, just be prepared not to look at the prices on the menus!

We also hit up the casino most nights, it was small, but had some good table games! It's no Vegas, but gave us something to do after dinner! It was fun and I know my husband enjoyed the activity and drinks!!
Hope this helps as you try to decide where to take your next Carribiean vacation!

Room Tip: we had an oceanview suite in the main building, we enjoyed being in the main building close to every...

Last time i was here was 2011. i went to med school in st kitts, so between 2005-2006 i was always using hotel facility to relax and study. The beach is decent but not like other carrib islands. If u dont like hotel beach, there are other small beaches u can visit. There is plenty to do in the resort, nice resturents, night club and golf course very near by. I love the casino here haha god was nice to me and i ended up paying for 2 symester from my winning.

i would def recommend this place but do watch out up for the prices :-)

A lovely relaxing hotel with comfortable, well appointed rooms, excellent linens and nicely scented bath products. Some of the most comfortable beds around; large, flat screen televisions and separate face-basin cubicle which really minimizes the time spent getting ready to go out. Beautiful lobby, tranquil surroundings and spacious beach. I had a few issues with service e.g. the wrong breakfast was brought to my room and the beach restaurant was a bit slow. However, the island had just been hit by Tropical Storm Raphael and this may have been due to shortage of staff since some of their homes were affected. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and definitely return. They may also want to think of covered walkways since when it rains, it is difficult to access the lobby from the rooms which are dispersed over the huge grounds. But overall, definitely a very good experience!

The Marriott Resort Hotel, St Kitts is even nicer than the pictures show.It has a pristine beach and there is definitely no fighting over sunbeds and parasols, they are in abundance. No charge for rental. The beach is on the Atlantic coast and not the Caribbean so the water is definitely rougher and swimming close to shore is recommended. Also a few jelly fish to watch out for.
The superior rooms are HUGE, air conditioned and very comfortable. Beds are amazingly comfortable.
A wide choice of restaurants, pools, coffee shops and a well equipped gym. The prices are rather steep so the all inclusive option works out to be good value as you can eat in any of the restaurants and anything you want off the menu.
The resort was a little quiet in September so I will try and visit further into the season next time.
A visit to the neighbouring island of Nevis is a must, its a very pretty island with lots of old fashioned charm.
