The hotel itself is huge and well kept. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly on almost all occasions. I would recommend staying in one of the villas because they are nicer and I do not believe they are that much more expensive. The pool is fun during the day but the hot tubs are not heated which was a bit of a disappointment if you like to sit and relax with a drink. The service a the pool bar is slow, but all natives move slow on that island and it is just a way of life there. The beach was nice and there are great views from there as well. I ate at the italian restaurant there and its overpriced for mediocre food at best. If you walk out of the hotel and go left there are other restaurants which were cheaper and way better than what the Marriott offered. Nice getaway especially if you have kids.
-Internet is not free in the rooms except in the lobbies and villas (I think the villas but definitely in the lobby).
-The food and other goods sold at the hotel are ridiculously overpriced.
