“A great place to visit.”

The food fabulous; delicious soups, breads, cakes etc. Sitting by the fire on the sofas is so relaxing- if you are lucky there may even be a couple of musicians passing the time there. Add to this the lovely art- one of the best places to relax in Rothbury.

“Interested in Art and home-cooking?”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

This is a friendly, well- run Gallery, in a the beautiful Northumbrian town of Rothbury. Your dog is welcome, too and if, like me, you are Coeliac, you will find delicious treats to eat, and excellent tea or coffe to drink, while you savour the work on display. It's also very family- friendly - with comfy sofas and a log-stove.
If you aren't lucky enough to be staying in the town , do plan a detour or stop there!

“Delicious soup, good service, interesting gallery ...”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

Phoned ahead and called in for lunch yesterday. Staff had gluten free bread for my sister .. Delicious chunky, warming soup for of us and a half portion of roasted tomato soup for granddaughter. Enjoyed gallery and drinking lovely cup of tea with a slice of yummy home made cake on sofas in front of log stove!
