“A fantastic location to spend a weekend”
Reviewed June 13, 2010

What a wonderful location to be! It was my first time to visit the island and I was advised to stay overnight to see the wildlife at it fullest. Asides from the shearwaters at night and dawn birds to wake up to I loved the feeling of island life. All the modern amenities were catered for with eco-friendly additions of solar panels to power electricity and water heating and there were compost loos to save water! The wardens and visitor officer were on hand to make my stay comfortable and encouraged myself and the others staying to join in the evening's talk about what we'd seen on the island and you feel quite a part of "island life". I would recommend it for anyone who feels like taking a countryside holiday with a difference!
